My Christmas Chocolate Chip Cookies are so simple (perfect for the kiddos to help with). They are a holiday favorite!!

- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup sprinkles
- 1½ cups Christmas M&Ms, divided
- 2 cup chocolate chips, milk, semi-sweet or dark chocolate chip
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a baking sheet and set aside.
In a stand mixer (or with a hand mixer in a large bowl), cream butter, oil and both sugars. Add eggs and beat until fluffy.
Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and vanilla, and mix until incorporated.
Chop ½ cup M&Ms and fold into cookie dough mixture along with sprinkles and 1/2 the chocolate chips.
Use a medium cookie scoop to scoop dough, roll into balls and place onto the prepared baking sheet. Top with more whole M&Ms. Bake for 9–11 minutes.
Let cookies sit on the cookie sheet for a few minutes, then remove to a rack to cool.

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-4 days or in the freezer for 2-3 months.
