Servings: 12

Ingredients

  • 24 sweet dinner rolls
  • ½ pound deli-sliced honey ham
  • ½ pound deli-sliced smoked turkey
  • ½ pound sliced swiss cheese
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Remove rolls from packaging. Without separating them, use a serrated knife to slice them in half horizontally. Repeat with the second package. Place both bottom portions of the rolls side-by-side in a lightly sprayed, foil-lined, 9x13 baking pan.
  • Evenly layer ham, then turkey, then cheese slices over the rolls. Place the top portion of the rolls over the cheese layer.
  • In a bowl, whisk melted butter, egg, and Dijon mustard until well combined. Evenly pour over the tops of rolls, covering each one. Tent a piece of foil over the rolls, making sure the foil does not touch the tops of the rolls. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking for 10 more minutes.
  • Remove from oven and cool for 15 minutes before removing rolls from pan. Dust with powdered sugar and serve immediately.

Notes

Recipe Notes:
  • Keep the rolls attached when slicing, halve each pack horizontally for fast, even layering.
  • Tent with foil for the first bake, then uncover to brown without drying.
  • Let the pan cool about 15 minutes, the cheese sets and slices cleaner.
  • Make ahead, assemble up to 1–2 days in advance without the butter mixture, cover and chill, then add the topping and bake to serve. Store leftovers 2–3 days in the fridge.
  • Serve with raspberry jam or the easy raspberry dip for the classic pairing.
Make ahead of time. Assemble the sliders 1-2 days ahead of time, but do not pour with butter mixture. Cover the pan of sliders with plastic and store in the fridge. Before baking pour with butter sauce.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days or wrap individual rolls and keep them in the freezer for up to 2-3 months.
