Course: Drinks
Cuisine: American
Servings: 2
- 1 cup orange juice
- ½ cup strawberries
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ⅛ cup sugar, optional
- 12 ice cubes
Add orange juice, strawberries, milk, water, vanilla, sugar, and ice cubes to a blender. Blend until smooth.
Recipe Tips.
- For fresh squeezed juice use 3-4 medium fresh oranges.
- You can make a smoothie thicker simply by using less liquid or adding more strawberries or ice.
- Ajust the sweetener according to your prefernces. You can also use honey, maple syrup, agave nectar, or a very ripe banana to sweeten the drink.
- My favorite way to use leftover orange juice smoothie is to make it into frozen popsicles!
Store leftovers. For best quality, store it in an airtight container, filling it to the very top to minimize air exposure. Refrigerate for 12 hours or freeze for up to 3 months. Reblend before drinking
