  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 pound vanilla candy coating
  • Christmas sprinkles

  • Shape into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet lined with wax paper. Chill for 30 minutes.
  • When done chilling, melt candy coating according to package directions until smooth and dip balls coating them completely. Allow excess to drip off and place back on waxed paper-lined baking sheet.
  • Top with sprinkles and chill for an additional 15-20 minutes. ENJOY!

Notes

Recipe Tips.
  • Use creamy peanut butter for the smoothest filling.
  • Mix the peanut butter, butter, and powdered sugar until a dough forms and no dry spots remain.
  • Chill the rolled balls for 30 minutes so they are firm enough to dip.
  • Tap off the excess candy coating before placing the snowballs back on the wax paper.
  • Make-ahead tip: make and chill the snowballs a day or two ahead, then store covered until ready to serve.
Store. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 5-7 days, in the refrigerator for up to 10 days, or in a freezer-safe container for 1-2 months. Line with paper towels to absorb moisture as they thaw.
