Pizza Waffles Recipe
These Pizza Waffles are stuffed with mozzarella and mini pepperoni, cooked until crispy in a waffle maker, and served with warm pizza sauce for dipping. A fun, easy meal everyone loves.

- 1 (16.3-ounce) can refrigerated Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Flaky Layers Original Biscuits (8 Count)
- 12 slices mozzarella cheese, cut in quarters
- ½ cup mini pepperoni slices
- Italian seasoning
- 1 (14-ounce) jar pizza sauce
Spray waffle maker with cooking spray; heat waffle maker to medium-high temperature.
Separate dough into 8 biscuits. For each biscuit, carefully peel the biscuit in half (should separate easily once you start). Add 6 cheese slice quarters (1 ½ slices total) to one side of the biscuit, along with 8-10 mini pepperoni slices. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Add the other half of the biscuit on top and pinch the edges together.
Place 1 biscuit onto the center of the waffle maker. Loose lid and cook for 2 minutes or until browned and cheese is melted. Continue the process with the remaining biscuits.
Warm up pizza sauce, and serve pizza waffles with the sauce or with warm marinara.
Recipe Tips.
- Avoid Leaking: Pinch the edges really well so the cheese does not leak out in the waffle maker.
- Do not overfill: too much cheese can ooze out as it melts.
- Perfect Cook: Cook until deep golden brown, it helps the biscuit cook through and get crisp.
- Not Too Dark: If your waffle maker runs hot, lower the heat slightly so the inside melts before the outside gets too dark.
- Make Ahead Tip: Cook the waffles and reheat in the toaster oven or air fryer to crisp them back up.
Store. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Reheat in a toaster oven or air fryer at 350°F for 4 to 6 minutes until hot and crisp. Microwave works, but they will be softer.
Freeze. Freeze cooked waffles on a baking sheet until firm, then store in a freezer bag for up to 2 months.
