  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 ½ pounds chuck roast or sirloin steak sliced into bite sized strips (or ground beef)
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups beef broth full sodium
  • 1 tbsp Worchestershire sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup whipping cream
  • 1 (16 ounce) package medium egg noodles
  • fresh chopped parsley optional


  • Add oil to a large saucepan on medium-high heat. Toss meat with flour and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Brown meat in hot oil (about 2 minutes per side).
  • Cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain when done.
  • Add sour cream, whipping cream and garlic salt to the meat mixture and stir.
  • Add noodles and toss to coat. Add any more salt and pepper, to taste. Add fresh parsley and serve warm.
