Begin by making circle pancakes whatever size you want. We made ours about 4 – 5 inches wide.
Make bacon folding it in an “L” shape to be the scarf.
Add two pancakes on a plate with one overlapping a little, add a piece of bacon for the scarf. Top with powdered donut head.
Add mini chocolate chips for eyes and smile. Add mini orange M&M for nose and chocolate chips for buttons. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Top with syrup and enjoy!
Recipe Tips.
- Make the pancakes about 4 to 5 inches wide so they fit nicely on the plate with the donut head.
- Cook the bacon so it is bendable enough to fold into an “L” shape for the scarf.
- Place the pancakes slightly overlapping so the snowman body holds together visually.
- Set out the candies and chocolate chips in small bowls so kids can decorate their own snowmen.
- Make-ahead tip: cook the pancakes and bacon ahead, then rewarm and assemble right before serving.
Store. Keep in a tightly closed Ziploc baggie in the fridge. To reheat, either microwave them, or pop them in the toaster.
Freeze. See How to Freeze Pancakes for directions.
