Mother’s Day is coming up.
I’m usually stressing out about what to get my mom but am glad the sisters, SIL and I already decided on making the Custom Name & Picture Boards for my mom’s Play Room. We will still do a few other things for her, but those will be the “thoughtful” gifts. Do you also do a “thoughtful” gift and the “we know you want it” gift? Ya know – the gift card, lotions, etc? I feel like I can’t just do one or the other so we usually do a few gifts for my mom. I know she’d be happy with a hug, but it’s always nice to show your mom just how much you love her.
As the holiday approaches, I thought I would do a post of DIY Mother’s Day Gift Ideas. These are all basically gifts I, myself, would LOVE to get!

Yeah, I’m pretty sure I would be happy with any of the above!!
I’m thinking I may need to “accidentally” email this post to the hubby.
So, I’m curious – what item would you want the most?
ENJOY!

Thanks for this! It’s a great collection of Mother’s Day Gifts. I’d better get started!

Thanks, girl!! I hope you have a great Mother’s day! Already miss you and Rach. I think you should come and play down in AZ for a Girls Trip.
I really love the mason jar planter box. I need to add that to my list of things I want to create. Either way though they would all be great. Handmade/Homemade gifts are the best. We are making my mom a bench for Mother’s Day. She is so excited.
xoxo,
Melissa
Ooooh, I love benches!! Are you going to blog about it when it’s done? Would love to see it!
My brother and I are the same way about getting gifts for my mom. I usually go for the thoughtful gifts, and he usually goes for the useful gifts. I’m still debating on what to get mom, but all of these ideas are very good. I really like the Mason jar planter box and it looks so easy to make. I’ll probably make a couple, one with flowers and the other with a few of her favorite herbs. My brother is getting her a Sling Adapter so that she can sit by the pool and watch TV on her iPad. He’s been giving Sling Adapters to everyone since I told him about my job, Dish, releasing them at such a low price. Thanks again for the ideas, I know my mom will love this Mother’s day!
Thank you, June!! It’s funny how the girls tend to think about the thoughtful gifts while the guys go for the practical ones, lol. Good luck with the planter box if you decide to do it. I think it is so stinkin’ cute!!
Hi I was interested in the dish soap cake stand, but it’s link actually belongs to the pallet mantle above it. Thanks for all the great ideas.
I am SO sorry about that. Just fixed it.
the link for the count your blessings board links to the wrong one, it goes to the grandma board.
thank you for this post, just what i was looking for
Good to know – thank you so much! I will fix it.
I loved the soap stand!! These are great ideas to make for MIL or my own mom, friends or sisters. But if I want one I would have to make it myself…oh well.
Haha!! I feel the same way!! I would be happy with any of these items because they are all adorable! Thank you for stopping by! XO
So many great ideas all in one place. And thank you for including my bathroom jars!! xo

Howdy are using WordPress for your blog platform?
I’m new to the blog world but I’m trying to get started and set up my
own. Do you need any html coding expertise to make your own blog?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
