Back To School Breakfast Party

Back to School Breakfast Party with free prints. SO cute!

Hi Everyone! Jenny Raulli from Bloom Designs Online happy to be back on Lil Luna to share a fun back to school tradition with you.  Fall is my absolute most favorite season.  Before I had my own children, I was an elementary school teacher.  I find the start of school so exciting and rejuvenating.  It is a blank slate and definitely time to celebrate.  Once school has been in a few weeks, my family hosts an Off to A Great Start Party.  We invite the families in the neighborhood to stop by our yard for a quick breakfast before heading off to school.

This year I stuck to a black, red, and tan color scheme with lots of white to keep the design simple.  I used a chalkboard from my kitchen for the backdrop.  If you don’t have a large chalkboard , they are super easy to make.  All you need is a piece of plywood and a quart of chalkboard paint.  I added wooden letters and framed alphabet word art (free download) for the decorations.  Our guest munched on yogurt and granola cups, mini cinnamon rolls, glazed donut muffins, fruit cups, cereal and homemade oatmeal.   All but the oatmeal can be made the night before so that the morning of the party is not so rushed. The food and drinks are packaged so they are easy to grab and go.  Whether our friends have five minutes or thirty, they are off to a great start!

Chevron straws, baking cups, square drink bottle and fruit cups available here.  For more back to school ideas and traditions visit Bloom Designs Online. Thanks Kristyn for having me!
