Hi! I’m Chelsea! I blog over at Making Home Base about DIY, crafts, and life in a rental! Many of my projects are done SUPER cheap because I like decorating on a budget!
I am so excited to be here today sharing a new DIY with you! If there are two things I love it’s summer and nautical decor. If you visit my blog you’ll that I especially love nautical decor! So with summer around the corner I thought this would be the perfect time to whip up a fun beverage tray that is perfect for all the upcoming summer evenings spent outside!
DIY Nautical Beverage Tray
To make this you’ll need a few supplies:
A wood round
I picked up a 15 inch wood round from the hardware store and sanded it until smooth.
Next, I spray painted the entire piece white. This required a few coats for full coverage.
I used my Silhouette to create a vinyl stencil for the anchors but you can easily use a purchased stencil or print and cut your desired design and use that as a stencil. Also, this project would be great for stamping as well!
After the stencil was firmly in place, I spray painted the anchors navy blue.
After the anchors were dry, I drilled holes for the handles. The handles are just drawer pulls that I spray painted gold. Super easy and cheap trick!
This DIY makes the a great beverage tray for entertaining this summer! Can’t you see this on your summer table? Whether relaxing or entertaining, it’s perfect for both!
Oh my – I LOVE this DIY Nautical Beverage Tray, Chelsea!! So pretty and perfect to use for all the summer parties and get togethers!
