Thick and creamy Pudding Milkshake is rich, delicious and only takes 5 minutes to whip up. It is one of our favorite treats!
We are fans of pudding in our family. Easy Banana Pudding, Oreo Pudding Pie, and Strawberry Pudding Cookies are some of our fave pudding twists, but this pudding milkshake is on of our most requested!
A tasty twist on a classic!
We love food. And we are especially fans of desserts! Every Monday night we have Family Night and I always am sure to have a dessert ready for the evening. Sometimes I bake or even do something easy like pudding, but one of the family’s favorite treats are these Pudding Milkshakes from Kraft Foods.
I found the recipe years ago in one of their magazines and am so glad I did!! Not only do they take minutes to make, but they are so good!!! I like milkshakes and all, but there is just something so delish about having a box of pudding in the drink too!
If you like milkshakes, I can guarantee you will love these too! You can change things up by adding different pudding mixes, but our favorite is White Chocolate pudding. 🙂
Just blend + Enjoy!
It takes just minutes to make:
BLEND. Put all ingredients in blender and blend until well mixed.
It’s that simple, and that’s delish!! PLUS – there are so many ways to change it up!
Tips, Variations + Storing Info
Thickness: Adjusting the thickness of your hake is quite easy. To thin it out simply add more milk. For a thicker shake you can add a second banana or a bit more pudding mix. The type of milk you use will also affect the creaminess of the shake. High fat milk will yield a more creamy texture. The opposite is also true.
Favorite Flavors: Since much of the flavor comes for the type of pudding you use, then it will be super easy to change the flavor by changing up the pudding mixture. Some delicious ideas include chocolate pudding, Banana pudding, Pistachio Pudding, Strawberry Pudding.
*Note: You can use sugar free pudding mix if you desire.
Toppings/Mix ins: Top your shake with the traditional dollop of whipped cream and cherry, but that’s not the only delicious topping you can use.
- Sprinkles
- Chocolate or caramel drizzle
- Crushed cookies
- Chopped Nuts
- Peanut butter
- Malt Powder
STORE leftover shake in the fridge for a little while, but for longer storage you’ll need to FREEZE it. Pour into a freezer-safe airtight cup and keep it in the FREEZER for about a week. Thaw slightly before drinking. You may even want to put it in the blender to quickly revive it.
Popsicle: Another way to free leftover shake is to pour it into popsicle molds. My kids love such treats especially on a hot summer day in Arizona.
