Snickers in Brownie Form!

We have another delicious and easy dessert to share with you!!

This is basically a Snickers candy bar but in brownie form! It all starts with a brownie base (you can use a box mix from the store, or make your favorite Homemade Brownies), and has layers of nougat, caramel, and roasted peanuts.

We topped it off with both white chocolate and milk chocolate, and even left some plain without a chocolate coating.

It’s a great treat to let your kids help with as you dip it in the candy coating. Enjoy!!

Snickers Brownie Base

PREP. Preheat oven to 350. Line a 13×9 pan with foil and spray with cooking spray.

BROWNIES. Make your brownies according to package directions and pour into pan. Bake and let cool completely.

NOUGAT. In a medium bowl, mix marshmallow fluff and peanut butter until well blended. Spread over brownie mixture.

CARAMEL. Place unwrapped caramels in a microwave safe bowl with 2 TB heavy cream and heat for 1 minute. Take out and stir. Continue to microwave in 30 second increments until caramels are melted and mixture is smooth.

PEANUTS. Pour caramel mixture over nougat layer and immediately pour on peanuts making sure you press them in a bit. Refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.

Chocolate Topping

SHAPE. Cut brownies into bite size pieces and place back in fridge.

CANDY MELTS. Place candy melts in a small pot and place on low heat stirring until completely melted. Place tops of brownie bites in melted chocolate and place on parchment paper to set.

*Tip: let the kids help in the kitchen by putting the warm chocolate coating in a shallow plate or dish and having them dip the brownie bites in the chocolate.

SET. Let brownie bites set for at least 30 minutes. Place in air tight container to store.

Tips + Variations

Feel free to use the store bought brownie bites to save on time and extra ingredients. They are usually small and thicker than if you just made brownies and cut squares out of them. OR use our fudgy brownie recipe.

Ways to mix it up:

  • You could add mini snickers to the brownie bites before baking them. This way you get more snickers flavor into the dessert
  • You can dip some in dark chocolate
  • Use dark chocolate brownie mix
  • You can use crunchy peanut butter to add even more peanut taste.
  • Use crunchy peanut butter and omit the peanuts. Your bites may not have as many peanuts this way, but it is an option
  • Make your own caramel with corn syrup and sugar and use that instead.

Storing Info

STORE in an airtight container. They should last about a week in an air-tight container at room temperature.

If you FREEZE them, they can last up to 3 months.

    Lily must be a genius. My jaw dropped when I looked at the pictures because it just looks THAT good! Bonus, my dad is in love with Snickers and Twix so I’ll have to make them this year for Father’s Day or his Birthday. Heck, I’ll probably do ’em both and he’ll ask me to do it even more frequently (;
