Walt Disney World for kids - tips, tricks and rides

walt disney world for kids

My family loves going to the Happiest Place on Earth! There is so much to do and so much fun to be had at the parks in Orlando!! Everyone has a blast and all worries seem to melt away as we walk through the magical place.

We have always gone to the Disney Parks with young children and have found that they have just as much or even more fun than we do. Disney is so wonderful about making each park fun for all ages, and today I’m going to share with you all the fun that can be found for Preschoolers at Walt Disney World.

This last vacation our preschoolers were four, two and one. How much can they really do at the Walt Disney World Parks? The answer? A TON!! In fact, they could do almost everything except for the bigger rides, which I’m sure they were fine with.

With four parks (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Epcot) at Walt Disney World Resort, there were countless rides, shows, activities, and more that our youngest children were able to do with us. Not only were they able to take part in all the fun, but they LOVED these activities and have already requested a return visit.

Disney World Rides for Kids

To get things started, I wanted to show you just how much the kids could do at Disney’s four parks. I have not listed EVERYTHING below, but the majority of it all and even highlighted my children’s top 5 attractions and shows in RED for each park. The height requirements are also listed on the rides that preschoolers could fit on. Check them out…

Disney World rides for kids - Animal Kingdom

Fun for Preschoolers at Disney

Best Age to Take Kids to Disney World

It’s not hard to give Walt Disney World two thumbs up on FUN! Every kid in our family had a wonderful time and loved visiting all the parks.

We have heard our friends say that they don’t want to take their kids to theme parks until they are older and will “make the most of it.”

Luckily, Walt Disney World is not your ordinary theme park! There is SO MUCH that is geared for all members of the family no matter their age. These memories are some of our most cherished possessions, and we are so happy we have started them now rather than waiting.

For those who say that you can be too young for Disney, our 4 year old can’t stop talking about all the rides , which ones are her favorite, and what she is going to do next time; our 2 year old has a new found obsession with Mickey, pointing him out everywhere, and loves to look at himself in the pictures of our vacation, and our 1 year old gets up and dances like crazy with the biggest smile when she sees our home videos of the park.

Hopefully this post will be helpful in creating as many “magical” moments with your young ones, as it has for ours! Looking back at these pictures, I realize that our little kids definitely… “made the most of it.”

Just SOME of the fun we had at Walt Disney World.
