prefer to use Fresh Peaches?

To use fresh peaches you need a boiled fresh peach mixture.

  1. Take 2 cups of freshly sliced peaches (about 4-5 peaches, peeled, cored, and sliced), ¾ cup of sugar, and a dash of salt, and bring to a boil over high heat.
  2. Pour over batter into the 9×9 pan. Do not mix!
  3. The rest of the recipe remains exactly the same.

Looking for an easy recipe for peach cobbler & came across this fantastic recipe. Just finished baking it and must say it is yummy. However, after reading all the reviews, made a few changes. Made it in a 11 x 7 1/2 baking dish. Cut the sugar down to 1/2 cup, added vanilla extract and the rest as the recipe is written. Next time I will cut the butter down to 1/4 as well. Thank you for posting such an awesome recipe. This is a keeper.

Really good. Maybe a little too sweet, might cut the sugar in half next time.

    1. Lil'Luna Team says:

You can definitely play around with the amount of sugar if it was too sweet for your taste. Glad you enjoyed the recipe!!

  5. Bridgett Brown says:

How do you alter the ingredient measurements of this recipe for a 13×9 pan as opposed to a 9×9 pan?

    1. LilLunaTeam says:

If you double the ingredient amounts in the recipe it will work perfectly for a 13×9 pan. Hope this helps!

      1. Megan says:

How would you adjust the bake time if the recipe is doubled and baked in a 13 x 9?

      2. Lil'Luna Team says:

I would try keeping the bake time the same and then just watch it closely. If you are increasing the size of the pan but are also increasing the amount of batter, it should bake about the same, but could need a little more time. Just watch it closely around 35-45 minutes. Insert a toothpick and when it comes out clean, you know it’s done!

This was so good! My husband loved it! It’s quick, easy and delicious! Just be sure to increase the bake time if you use an 8×8 pan like I did, otherwise it will not bake all the way through with the time given.

    1. LilLunaTeam says:

I’m so glad you enjoyed it so much! Thanks for the tip on the bake time!
