- Easy to make. No scooping individual cookies, just press and bake.
- Loaded with chocolate. This particular recipe has white chocolate chips, semi sweet chocolate chips, and walnuts, but you can switch up chips or nuts however you like!
- Thick cookie texture. Pressing dough into a pan keeps the center soft while the edges turn golden.

How to Make a Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie

PREP. Preheat the oven to 375. Grease a 14 inch rimmed pizza pan. Set aside.
WET INGREDIENTS. In a large bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer, beat together the butter, sugar, and brown sugar. Add the vanilla extract and eggs, and beat until smooth.
DRY INGREDIENTS. Add the all purpose flour, salt, and baking soda, and mix until just combined.
CHIPS + NUTS. In a small bowl, mix the semisweet chips, white chocolate chips, and walnuts. Fold about 3/4 of the chocolate chips and walnuts into the dough.

BAKE. Spread the cookie dough in an evenly layer on the prepared pan, then sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips and walnuts on top. Bake 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
If you don’t have a pizza pan, you can use a metal cookie sheet. Just make shape the dough into a circle in the center of the baking sheet, making sure it has the same thickness throughout.

Yummy! I bet the pb chips were delicious in there too. So fun to switch things up!
Aside from it being yummy one of the reasons I love this recipe is because the dough can easily be frozen in the pan and all that’s needed is to thaw and bake.
Nothing better than a big chocolate chip cookie! Love the combination of white & chocolate chips with the walnuts.
I like the idea of a giant cookie that you can decorate any way you want. Then you slice and serve. How fun!
