We love Nutella and we love brownies, so it was only natural to combine the two to make Nutella Brownies!

This dessert is rich, chocolatey, and layered with a creamy cheesecake swirl that makes these brownies especially delicious.

Weโ€™ve made these so many times for family get-togethers and holidays, and they always disappear fast. The fudgy brownie base paired with the smooth Nutella cheesecake layer is just so good, and itโ€™s easier than it looks.

If you loved this, try Cheesecake Brownies, Chocolate Chip Bars, Peanut Butter Brownies, or Oreo Brownies. These are all favorites we make again and again!

Why you’ll love it + Why it works:

  • Simple Steps. Easy layering and baking make this recipe reliable, plus it’s ready in only 30 minutes!
  • Bakery Style at Home. Looks impressive but is simple to make.
  • Balanced Layers. Brownie and cheesecake bake together perfectly.
  • Nutella Swirl. Adds extra flavor and a beautiful finish.

Kristyn’s Recipe Tips

  • Donโ€™t Overbake: The center should have a slight jiggle for the best texture.
  • Use Room Temp Ingredients: Helps the cheesecake layer mix smoothly.
  • Swirl Gently: Use a toothpick for a pretty swirl without overmixing.
  • Cool Completely: This helps the layers set before cutting.
  • Variations: Add chocolate chips to the brownie batter or top with festive holiday sprinkles.

Make ahead of time. Allow the brownies to cool and set. Separate layers with parchment paper and place in an airtight freezer-safe container. Freeze for up to 3 months.
Store. I store them in the fridge because I love cold fudgy brownies. Keep brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days. They are good for even longer. If needed, separate layers with wax or parchment paper.
