Deliciously merry Peppermint Punch is incredibly festive, takes minutes to make, and only has 3 ingredients!!
Peppermint punch is perfect for holiday gatherings. If you need more ways to use up all of those cute candy canes try crunching them up in Peppermint Ice Cream or Brownies with a side of Peppermint Fluff!
Perfectly peppermint
During the holidays we tend to gobble up all things peppermint! Especially of the candy cane variety. Candy canes just lend a merry element to anything they touch. They really exude Christmas don’t they?!
Peppermint Punch utilizes both the flavor and wow factor of candy canes to make one epic drink! It is DELICIOUS!!! It only has 3 ingredients – egg nog, Peppermint ice cream and Club Soda. How easy is that?!
It’s a great way to end a night of general merry-making like our annual Christmas cookie exchange. My whole family loved it and I hope your family loves it too!
Whip up a festive punch
MIX. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
SERVE. If poured into cups, sprinkle crushed candy canes on top.
Tips, variations + Storing Info
The ice cream should be softened, but not melted. Let it sit on the counter for 5-10 minutes until you can make a dent in the ice cream with your finger. Do not microwave as it is not reliable.
Variations:
- Rim your glasses with crushed peppermint candies
- Use an almond milk based eggnog
- Garnish with fresh fruit
- Use a peppermint stick as a stirring stick
For making ahead, if you are going to drink it within a few hours make it last later a little longer by putting it in the fridge. For longer storage go ahead and STORE it in the freezer. When you’re ready to drink it thaw it enough to be placed in the blender.
Another thing you can do with leftovers is to pour it into a popsicle mold. FREEZE and you’ll have a frozen summer snack.

Hi! I was just wondering what would be a good substitute if you can’t seem to find peppermint ice cream and don’t have the time to make any? Thanks!
I would try vanilla ice cream with peppermint extract and candy cane pieces. Hopefully that works. 😉
