lasagna – but the dessert kind!

We have a new dessert for you that we think you will love!

WHITE CHOCOLATE LASAGNA!

You may wonder why we are calling it lasagna, but it’s mostly because it has layers like a lasagna. In this dessert, there are layers of crushed Golden Oreos, cream cheese, pudding, whipped cream and it’s all topped with white chocolate curls!!

You may not want to call it lasagna, but you may want to call it White Chocolate Heaven, because it is really so good!!!

Easy layers made in no time

Actually preparing this layered dessert doesn’t take long at all, but plan ahead because it will need to refrigerate for at least an hour before serving!

CREAMY LAYER. In a medium bowl, blend cream cheese, margarine/butter, powdered sugar and ½ of the cool whip. Blend well and pour over your Golden Oreo Crust.

PUDDING LAYER. In another bowl, make your pudding by adding your milk to your bowl and instant pudding. Whisk together until pudding thickens. Pour over the cream cheese layer. Refrigerate for at least 5 minutes.

TOP & SERVE. Top off with the rest of your Cool Whip (or homemade whipped cream if you like!). Add white chocolate shavings. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.

Add: Try adding your favorite fresh berries on top. You can also add some texture with white chocolate chips.

CRUST. Begin by crushing your Oreos. For a very fine mixture, place Oreos in your food processor. Place in a ziploc baggie and add your melted butter. Mix until it is well combined. Press into the bottom of a 9×13 pan spreading out to cover the entire bottom of the pan.

Storing Leftovers

I recommend waiting to add any toppings (besides the last layer of cool whip) before storing. You can store white chocolate lasagna in the fridge, or in the freezer.

  • Fridge: Store covered in the refrigerator for about 5 days.
  • Freeze: Cover pan with plastic wrap then again with aluminum foil. Label and freeze for about 1 month. Thaw in the fridge.

Just finished making this dessert but with cheesecake pudding and strawberries, however, this one is next. So simple and quick and with most of the ingredients you already have in your pantry and fridge. Thank you so much

Made this today, exactly by the recipe, just absolutely awesome! Thinking I may add some strawberries and blue berries (USA flag design) to the top for 4th of July. Thank you!

SO glad you liked them!! And I think a Patriotic version would be awesome. Would love to see a pic if you end up doing it. 😉

This was amazing, but in the future, I will use a simple graham crust or vanilla wafer due to the difficulty and mess involved with the oreos. The stuff in the middle make a dang mess!!

  4. Beverly says:

This may be a dumb, question, but….do you use only the cookie part of the oreo and not the white cream center? I’d really like to make this, but just don’t want to mess up. Thanks

I would scrape out the “stuff” only because my processor bogged up with the weight it. Or simply use a vanilla wafer type cookie that doesn’t have the frosting center.

Oh no – don’t scrape it out, use the whole cookie. Use your food processor. It is crumby, not messy.

Oh no do NOT scrape it out. What a waste, lol. If you can’t use or don’t have a processor just put the whole cookies in a quart size Ziploc bag and crush them that way. Keep the filling!

      1. Lil' Luna says:

I agree – the filling makes it great and makes a better base. 😉

  5. Melissa says:

I bet my kids would love this! I will need to make this very soon. Very soon indeed.

  6. Phil says:

Stupid question of the day. Does this freeze? I would say no but I thought I would ask.

  7. Liz says:

This looks so good. Thanks Lily. You and your brother are so very cute. Have a good Sunday and a Wonderful Week.

I love your recipe for White Chocolate Lasagna. I fully expected a pasta dish. Lol. Thankfully, it’s layer after layer of sweet goodness, no pasta. It looks delicious. I struggle to cook recipes that my daughter will like. This definitely wins kid approval. I will have to try it sometime.
