Our Favorite December Treat

We LOVE to have something to “snack on” while being busy little elves, and this Christmas snack mix is a favorite!

This sweet and salty treat is holiday party-perfect and great for gifting. It also makes delicious “reindeer food” or for treats while watching our favorite Christmas movies. The best part is that it is thrown together in only 5 minutes!

The salty pretzels and peanuts, the chocolate touch of M&Ms and white chocolate chips, and the peppermint crunch combine for some tasty holiday snacking!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pretzels – twist or waffle pretzels, or mini pretzel twists
  • 1 cup peanuts Honey-roasted or salted peanuts, or cashews or almonds
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup M&M’s  We used red and green plain M&M candies
  • 1 cup peppermint Andes Mints, chopped
  • optional additions Corn Chex, Cheerios, mini marshmallows,

How to Make Christmas Snack Mix

  1. MIX. Pour 1 cup pretzels, 1 cup peanuts, 1 cup white chocolate chips, 1 cup M&M’s, and 1 cup chopped peppermint Andes into a large bowl and mix until well combined.

Put this in jars with a cute lid and ribbon to gift to friends or in cellophane bags with a tag. It’s also great for movie nights, parties, cookie plates and even Santa’s plate!

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup pretzels
  • 1 cup peanuts
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup M&Ms, (any kind but we used plain)
  • 1 cup peppermint Andes Mints, chopped

Instructions 

  • Pour pretzels, peanuts, white chocolate chips, M&M's, and chopped peppermint Andes into a large bowl and mix until well combined.
  • Put this in jars with a cute lid and ribbon to gift to friends or in cellophane bags with a tag. It's also great for movie nights, parties, cookie plates and even Santa's plate!

      If it is stored in an airtight container in a cool, dry place it will last for at least a week, possibly longer.
