Candy Corn snack mix

We love good snack mix recipes. S’mores Puppy Chow and Puppy Chow are some of our favorites.

This Candy Corn and Peanuts is one of the easiest, but most delicious snack mixes! It literally includes two ingredients and takes seconds to make.

It’s perfect to set out on the table for casual snacking or to serve at Halloween parties.

You will definitely want this easy candy corn snack mix recipe out on your counter this fall. It’s insanely good!!

Peanuts and Candy Corn

This is such an easy snack mix, but is SO good!

MIX + ENJOY! Combine a bag of candy corn with a jar of roasted peanuts. Mix and enjoy!!!

I like to have a small bowl out at all times, where I can quickly grab a handful throughout the day. It’s perfect for those sweet cravings, and for company!

Tips + Variations

Traditional candy corn is a triangular shape with a yellow bottom, orange center, and white tip. Switch up the color, shape, and even flavor of candy corn to match different holidays and activities.

  • Iโ€™ve seen sโ€™mores candy corn, caramel apple candy corn, cinnamon candy corn, and even green mint candy corn.
  • Around Easter, you can find pastel-colored candy corn. In the fall youโ€™ll start seeing candy corn pumpkins and black and orange triangle candy corn.

Serve in a festive bowl. I love using pumpkin-shaped bowls. Clear serving containers are also fun as they showcase all the fun colors of fall.

When giving this yummy treat away, I like to use candy corn take-out boxes, candy corn-shaped cellophane bags, treat boxes with a window, or a festive plastic container from the dollar store.

More mix-ins. Adding more candies will change the simple Peanut and Candy Corn flavor and texture, but can be a fun variation. We love a good sweet and salty snack mix. For tasty additions try:

  • M&Mโ€™s
  • chocolate chips
  • peanut butter chips
  • mini marshmallows
  • different nuts like almonds and cashews
  • pretzels
