These next-level Frosted Brownies are a family favorite that produces soft, chewy and decadent brownies.
A Childhood Favorite!
Todays Frosted Brownies dessert is one my mom has been making for decades. We’ve known and loved these addicting brownies all of our lives and we love that our own kids know and love them as “Grandma’s Famous Brownies”.
Although most brownie recipes do not have a frosting, the frosting on these bars is so simple and so delicious, it takes regular brownies to a whole new level.
Why we love it:
- Extra special. The frosting adds a decadent and creamy texture that provides a perfect balance of sweetness.
- A feast for the eyes. The glossy finish that makes the brownies look irresistible.
- Still quick and easy. You’re taking Homemade Brownies to the next level but they are still ready in only about 30 minutes!

Thank you Trish!! You have to try them out. They are the best brownies I’ve ever tasted…. for reals! 🙂
Could you double this recipe and put it in a 9×13 pan? They look yummy!
You probably could but you would have to bake it longer… maybe 35 minutes?? Not sure. You would have to experiment. I would do it and then back for 29, stick in a toothpick and then just keep checking til it’s all cooked. If you do try it, let me know how long you end up cooking it for and I will add that to the recipe. Thanks, Kristin! Hope you guys have a Happy Easter! 🙂
