- BAKE + SERVE. Bake for 40-45 minutes and serve warm.
We love to serve it with a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream and Whipped Cream!
prefer to use Fresh Peaches?
To use fresh peaches you need a boiled fresh peach mixture.
- Take 2 cups of freshly sliced peaches (about 4-5 peaches, peeled, cored, and sliced), ยพ cup of sugar, and a dash of salt, and bring to a boil over high heat.
- Pour over batter into the 9×9 pan. Do not mix!
- The rest of the recipe remains exactly the same.

Please tell me what a cube of butter is, measurement wise. I’d like to try your cobbler recipe. Thanks!
A cube of butter is the same as a stick which equates to 1/2 c or 8 Tbsp. ๐ Hope you enjoy the cobbler!
This was FANTASTIC! I doubled the recipe, put it in a 9×13 dish and used fresh cut mangoes instead of peaches.
Ooh I have never tried it with mangoes. That sounds awesome!! So glad to hear that you enjoyed the cobbler.

Yay!! So happy to hear! Thanks for sharing. ๐
I had a couple of fresh peaches going soft and so I figured Iโd make this. I had to add 1 cup of strawberries as I didnโt have enough peaches, and citrus enhancer as I didnโt have a lemon (in the directions for using fresh fruit)โฆbut omg it turned out soooooo good. I also reduced the sugar and I replaced milk with cream & water as I didnโt have any milk. I kinda mcgiverโd the recipe together, but the base and directions really pulled it all together.
Yโall gotta make this now.
Yay! Way to use what you had and make it work. I’m so glad to hear you enjoyed the recipe. Now I want to try peaches and strawberries in my cobbler next time! ๐

Cobblers taste 10x better with “fresh” fruits used in the recipe. Would’nt even think of using anything less .”That’s like a box of chocolates, never know what your gonna’ get”. Sorry, but I dropped the canned peaches and used fresh fruit and “tweeked” the baking powder and salt as well as milk and flour and made slightly larger than serves 8. Good to the last crumb q: Thanks for the recipe to follow (o:
Thanks for your feedback and for giving the recipe a try! Glad to hear that you enjoyed it!!
