These S’mores Brownies are the best way to get that campfire s’mores flavor without leaving your kitchen. You start with a rich, fudgy brownie base, then pile on Hershey bar pieces, graham crackers, mini marshmallows, and extra chocolate chips, and finish with a quick broil for that toasted top.
These brownies stay dense and chocolatey, the marshmallows get gooey and golden, and the graham crackers add the perfect little crunch. It is a fun party dessert, an easy summer treat, and one of those pans that disappears fast.

Kristyn’s Recipe Tips
- Watch the Broiler: Marshmallows toast quickly, so don’t walk away.
- Layering Matter: Layer chocolate first so it melts and holds everything together.
- Use Fresh Marshmallows: They melt better and give the best texture. Use jumbo marshmallows or cut large ones, and make sure they’re fresh.
- Let Cool Slightly: This helps the brownies set before cutting.
- Cutting Tips: For clean cuts, oil your knife between slices.
- Cooking Tips: Line the pan with parchment. If you don’t have parchment paper, be sure to spray the pan with cooking spray, then scoop in some flour. Tilt the pan so that the flour coats the bottom and sides. Discard excess flour.
- Box Mix: This is a great way to elevate a store-bought brownie mix. Bake the brownies according to the directions on the box. Top with s’mores ingredients as directed in the recipe.

Recipe FAQ
Store in an airtight container at room temperature. I love to reheat mine for a few seconds in the microwave to get the toppings nice and gooey again.
Once the brownies have cooled completely, store them in an airtight container or freezer bag, or tightly wrap them in plastic wrap. They can be kept frozen for up to 3 months. Thaw the brownies at room temperature before serving.

I made the Smores Brownies for a neighborhood block party and they were enjoyed by all!
It was so easy to make the brownie mix from scratch and didn’t take long at all. I didn’t have a Hershey bar so I used milk chocolate, dark chocolate and semi-sweet chocolate chips and it tasted great. I love many of your recipes and keep coming back to your website. Thank you!
That’s wonderful to hear! It always makes my day when people enjoy it, let alone a whole block!
If I freeze, do I freeze without the toppings?
So good
I actually don’t like regular s’mores but these are pretty good and perfect for summer camping.
You had me at s’mores!! These brownies are irresistible!! They are so gooey & delicious!!
What a great idea to turn a s’more into a brownie. The topping makes it over the top decadent!
These brownies are a family favorite. They taste just like a smore and an added bonus you can have them anytime
This looks amazing! Have you ever made it with the graham crackers on the bottom as more of a crust? Do you think it would turn out alright?
Can’t wait to make these – more yum missionary treats!! Kristyn, I didn’t see where the oven temp was listed, I’m assuming 350? Thanks,
love
donna
I did it at 325, for about 26 min, and they turned out great! I guess it would depend on your oven though.
Thanks!! I always have the worse time with brownies!! Either too soft or too hard!! I’ll try what you did!!
Thanks and, yes, more treats!! It’s whatever brownie recipe, you want to use..either homemade or boxed. Hope that helps 🙂
What temperature do you cook the brownies?
These look so good!
This is a contributors recipe, but it looks like you just use your favorite brownie recipe, then top with all the yumminess & it goes back in the oven for a few minutes. Does that make sense? So, you can even just make a boxed brownie & follow those instructions, before following the rest of the steps for these brownies. Hope you like these?
They turned out fantastic! Love them! Thank you!
hey girl- these look amazing!
Oh, my gosh..they are!! Thanks & you need to try them 🙂
