We Love This Holiday Punch!

It’s fun to have something festive to drink during special occasions and holiday parties. That’s where this non-alcoholic, fresh Holiday Punch comes in.

Here are all the things we love about it:

  • Easy. Holiday punch comes together quickly, is very simple to make, but still has that wow factor.
  • Flavor. The sweet citrus and bright flavors pair perfectly with all of the heavy food we consume during the holidays.
  • Presentation. It’s so bright and cheery and is beautiful in a glass pitcher.
  • Make ahead. For a stress-free party, just make (and even freeze) the base. Then, right before serving add the fizz and garnish.

Whether it’s for Thanksgiving or Christmas, this holiday recipe is sure to be a hit with all of your guests!

Ingredients

  • lemonade
  • cranberry juice or replace the tart cranberry juice with pomegranate juice

A Festive Drink

This non-alcoholic punch tastes as delicious as it looks!

  1. BASE. Pour and mix together the fresh fruit juices (cranberry juice, lemonade, and orange juice) in a large punch bowl. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
  2. FINISH. Right before serving, stir in Sprite (or any lemon-lime soda), and mix. Top with fresh cranberries, orange slices, and ice.
  3. SERVE. Serve this easy Christmas punch recipe in a large drink dispenser, or festive holiday punch bowl.

Recipe Variations

Add some extra flavor to your non alcoholic holiday punch with:

  • A splash of pineapple juice.
  • Add-ins of other berries like raspberries or strawberries, or even cloves.
  • Add a scoop of orange sherbet to each glass for a creamier punch.
Glass cup rimmed in colored sugar.

Recipe Tips

  • Donโ€™t make all of the punch all at once. Have extra ingredients so that you can whip up more batches as needed.
  • Rim your glasses with sugar. If you would like to go for this look, it’s quite easy.
    • Pick your sugar: plain white or coarse turbinado sugar work great. You can even use colored sugar crystals.
    • Pour the sugar into a bowl, or plate, that’s larger than the rim of your glasses.
    • Moisten the rim using citrus juice. Lemon or orange juice both work.
    • After moistening the rim of the glass, dip it in sugar.

Storing Info

  • Keep it cold. Chilling the soda beforehand will help keep the punch cold. However, you may want to consider also doing one of the following:
    • Freeze some of the punch into ice cubes to keep from being watered down.
    • Use frozen cranberries – they keep the punch cool without watering it down.
  • STORE leftover holiday punch in the fridge. Due to the carbonation, this drink will eventually go flat, but not for several hours. You can still drink it for many days, but I wouldn’t recommend making it days before you’ll be serving it.

Is it really SIXTY grams of sugar per serving??

    1. Lil'Luna Team says:

With all the fruit juices and soda in this, there is a high sugar content.

Thank you for this recipe! I used vodka to make it a cocktail holiday punch and it was a hit. So since you used 16 cups of juice, I used 8 cups of alcohol and it was a hit! I’ll be using this during Thanksgiving and Christmas.
