White Chocolate and Caramel Blondies

Happy Blonde Brownie Day!

That’s right…. today the Nation is celebrating Blondies. I’m not really sure how this holiday came about, but to celebrate I wanted to share with you a fun AND delicious Blondies recipe with you today.

If you have never tried Blondies, I would highly recommend that you do. It’s a white version of Brownies that’s more butter-y and so yummy!

The recipe I will be sharing with you today is White Chocolate and Caramel Blondies. The recipe came from HERE and was a huge hit with the my little family. I will definitely be making them again… and soon. :)

Super, duper delicious.

I’ve grown up having blondies but never with the caramel bits and white chocolate chips. Not sure if I can make these without them now because they made the blondies so much better!

Let me know if you try them out, and as always…

ENJOY!

hi these look delish! this may be a stupid question but where do you get caramel bits? are they with the chocolate chips?

Not a stupid question at all, Paige. The Caramel bits are in the baking section right next to the chocolate chips. The ones I used are the Kraft brand. :)

Hi…This may seem like a silly question, but should I use all purpose or self rising flour? Or does it make a difference? I’m so excited about making these and I just want to get them right :o )

Just noticed there is no baking powder or baking soda……I guess they don’t need it??

Hi! These look like such a yummy twist on the already delicious Blondie! Quick question: Can you substitute chopped up wrapped caramels (the square kind by Kraft people use as a shortcut for caramel apples, etc.)? I haven’t come across the caramel bits, only the harder, ‘jagged’ (vs. rounded or ‘chip morsel’ shape) toffee pieces, so I am unsure of what a similar product would be. I only ask because I live overseas and currently only have individually wrapped caramels, the hard toffee Heath morsels (not plain; chocolate covered), butterscotch morsels as my options.! Thank you!
