It is packed with berries (our favorite fruits) and smothered in a light and sweet dressing that is out of this world delicious AND simple. While it makes a tasty side dish, we often enjoy this salad as a dessert – it’s the perfect amount of sweet!

Honey Lime Fruit Salad Ingredients and Substitutions

  • zest and juice of one lime – see How to Zest Citrus
  • 1 tablespoon honey – or pure maple syrup
  • 4-6 cups chopped fresh fruit of your choice – We used strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries.

How to Make Honey Lime Fruit Salad

  1. MIX. In a medium bowl, whisk the lime zest, lime juice, and honey. Add the fruit to the bowl and toss to combine.
  2. CHILL. Refrigerate for a minimum of twenty minutes before serving to allow the flavors in this fresh fruit salad to blend.
  • Try to chop the fruit into similar-sized pieces for an even flavor distribution.
  • We prefer strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries, but other fruits like kiwi, red grapes, peaches, mandarin oranges, cantaloupe, and fresh pineapple can be used.
  • It will alter the flavor a bit, but you can use pure maple syrup instead of honey.

Honey Lime Fruit Salad Recipe

Honey lime fruit salad, with fresh berries and a bright two-ingredient dressing, is a sweet way to enjoy nature's colorful candy!

Ingredients
