Ingredients
PREP TIME: 5 minutes

- ½ cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup chopped pecans – You can buy whole pecans and chop them
- dash of salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

How to Make Pecan Pie Dip
- CREAM CHEESE MIXTURE. In a medium bowl, add 8 ounces softened cream cheese, 1 cup whipped topping, and 1 cup powdered sugar. Beat until smooth and pour into the bottom of a pie plate. Refrigerate.
- PECAN MIXTURE. In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, melt 4 tablespoons butter and add ½ cup brown sugar, ½ cup corn syrup, 1 cup pecans, and a dash of salt. Stirring occasionally, bring to a simmer. Remove from heat, add 2 teaspoons vanilla, and let cool for 8 minutes.
- MIX. Remove the cream cheese mixture from the fridge. Stir and pour the pecan mixture over the cream cheese and serve immediately.
- ENJOY! Serve with apples, pretzel crisps, graham crackers, and stroopwafels.
More Dippable Ideas
- Fresh fruit. Fresh apple slices, pear slices, or grapes offer a refreshing contrast to the rich dip.
- Cookies. Graham crackers, Biscoff cookies, shortbread cookies, gingersnaps, butter waffle cookies, or vanilla wafers are classic choices.
- Crackers. Pretzels, crackers, cubes of French bread, or even Cinnamon Tortilla Chips provide a sturdy base for the dip.
