Quick & EASY Fruit Dip

Who doesn’t love a good Fruit Dip recipe?

Fruit is already so tasty as it is, but let me tell you, dipping it in a sweet and delicious dip makes it even better. That’s why we are sharing today’s recipe for our family-favorite Fruit Dip (but other favs include our Caramel Apple Dip and Nutella Dip).

This Easy Fruit Dip recipe is not only the best, but it takes just a handful of ingredients and comes together in just a few minutes. With how simple it is to make, it’s perfect for parties, BBQs, showers, and get-togethers.

And we’re talking done in just 3-5 minutes or so – it’s that easy!

The ingredients for making cream cheese fruit dip on a kitchen counter.

How to Make Fruit Dip

This Cream Cheese Dip for fruit only contains 5 ingredients and is so easy to make! First, gather these ingredients:

  1. cream cheese
  2. marshmallow fluff
  3. Cool Whip or Whipped Cream (about 3 cups)
  4. powdered sugar
  5. vanilla

COMBINE. In a medium bowl, beat powdered sugar, cream cheese, and vanilla together with a hand mixer on low speed, until well mixed.

Fold in whipped topping and Marshmallow Fluff.

CHILL + SERVE! Chill until ready to serve. Serve with fruit or Pound Cake for dipping.

Serving Tips

Serving suggestions. You really can’t go wrong serving every fresh fruit with this Cream Cheese Fruit Dip recipe. Our favorites include strawberries, blackberries, pineapples, grapes, apples, raspberries, cherries, peaches, and bananas.

Additional dippables. Marshmallow Cream Cheese Fruit Dip works great for other treats too like vanilla wafers, Cinnamon Chips, graham crackers, or Oreos. Get creative!

Lighten it up. Use “light” versions of the cream cheese and cool whip. The dip will still turn out just as creamy and delicious. I typically use light cool whip.

Prevent fruit from turning brown. Here are a few tricks to keep that fruit looking fresh while it’s sitting on a platter at your party.

  • Dip cut fruit in lemon juice. Simply squeeze a lemon over the cut fruit and gently toss.
  • Quickly dip the fruit in ginger ale.
  • Use a commercial product such as Fruit-Fresh.
  • Use a sharp paring knife. The sharper the blade the less “damage” the fruit takes.

Storing info

STORE. We recommend storing this Fruit Dip Recipe in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 5-6 days. Unfortunately, it never lasts that long at our house and we have a feeling it will be the same at yours. 😉

Whether hosting a baby shower, a BBQ or even just having a date night in – I promise this Fruit Dip will not disappoint!

      1. I am going to make my Oreo cookie&cream poke cake, that usually only has a doctored up whipped topping, but I’m thinking this would be fantastic for the topping on the cake! What do you think? 🙂

    1. From Google: Is Fluff the same as Marshmallow Creme? Generically, they are the same, but Fluff is made by a costly, batch-whipping process. Creme is whipped in a continuous mixing process.

I found this recipe oh I’d say 5 years ago. I have very limited cooking/baking skills and I wanted to bring a dish to my boyfriend’s Thanksgiving. It was a HUGE hit, so much so that they request I bring it to Thanksgiving every year. I was just pulling up the recipe to prepare for this Thanksgiving and thought it was about time I left a review and a kind note to say Thank you to the OP for such an amazing recipe that even the kitchen challenged peeps can endure.
