Recipe FAQ
How to Store Fruit Dip?
- Keep our easy fruit dip in an airtight container in the fridge for 5-6 days.
What to serve with fruit dip?
- Serve alongside strawberries, pineapple, grapes, blueberries, blackberries, apples, raspberries, cherries, peaches, bananas, or pieces of Pound Cake Recipe. For additional dippers try vanilla wafers, cookies, pretzels, Cinnamon Tortilla Chips, graham crackers, Brownie Bites, or Oreos.
Can I add some different ingredients to change it up a little? Like orange or lemon juice/zest? Or cocoa? Or peanut butter? Or strawberry jam?
This dip is amazing! You can even just eat it plain! Yummm
Can you freeze this recipe?
Yes you can, but I wouldn’t really recommend. The texture might not be as smooth and creamy when it is thawed because of the cream cheese in there. So, technically you can, but the result when thawed might not be the same. I’d recommend storing in the fridge in an airtight container. It will last about 5 days.
Hi! Loving your recipes and the way you describe the recipes step by step and the great variations/add ins also!
Been making this fruit dip for years. Work to family get togethers. Everyone loves this dip from little ones to grandparents. It is “finger licking good”.
I just made this for the first time. I only made half bc after reading some of the reviews that said it was too sweet-I just wasn’t sure.
Now I wish I’d have doubled it & I cud eat the extra with a spoon.
I think it is GREAT & will be making it again.
Thanks for a fantastic recipe! I love it and my 91-year old mom won’t eat fruit without this dip!😊
Oh that makes me so happy to hear!! Glad the dip is a hit!
Thank You,
I love your recipes. I’m going to try a few of them this weekend for the Superbowl!!

this tastes great. can it ne frozen?
I wouldn’t recommend freezing. The texture of those dairy products thawed might be a little strange. The dip will last 5-6 days in an air-tight container in the fridge.
Hi I freeze it and it doesn’t hurt it
I made a double batch of this fruit dip for our 4th of July party. Everyone loved it!
My grandkids love to eat fresh fruit and this fruit dip will go perfectly with the frest fruit! Thanks!
love the marshmallow in this dip!
Good, but way too sweet. Should have left the powdered sugar out.
Thanks for the feedback and for giving the recipe a try!
I make this dip all the time for the holidays and my kids birthdays. It is so good that I love how light and fluffy it is. It also has just the right amount of sweetness. Thanks for an easy and great recipe.
I found this recipe oh I’d say 5 years ago. I have very limited cooking/baking skills and I wanted to bring a dish to my boyfriend’s Thanksgiving. It was a HUGE hit, so much so that they request I bring it to Thanksgiving every year. I was just pulling up the recipe to prepare for this Thanksgiving and thought it was about time I left a review and a kind note to say Thank you to the OP for such an amazing recipe that even the kitchen challenged peeps can endure.
I took this to a Father’s Day Cookout yesterday with a platter of fruit. Everyone raved about it and when we were gathering up too go home the entire bowl was missing… Someone took it home with their own leftovers… 😂
Haha! That is too funny! So glad to hear the dip was a hit!
I LOVE this dip! Make it all the time! I am going to make it now and use it As the filling for a strawberry poke cake and I believe it’s going to be delicious! May use a little bit of milk to thin it out a little bit to spread OVER the holes!
Glad you do! That sounds good! Let me know what you think! Thank you!
This is Sokoll good!
This is our favorite go-to fruit dip! It’s nice & smooth & the taste is amazing!!
I could eat this without the fruit too! SO light, fluffy and delicious!!
I Posted a comment recently but had to come back and add one more thiNg. One of my sons Made cookies and cream milkshakes for us aNd incorporated some of the Dip into them. Oh! My! Word! So super delicious!

Sounds delicious! I will have to try that! Thank you for sharing that!
I lOve this fruit dip! I eat it by the spOonful!
Thank you!!
You are so welcome & I do too!! Thank you!
what’s the difference between marshmallow fluff and marshmallow cream ?
Same thing 🙂
From Google: Is Fluff the same as Marshmallow Creme? Generically, they are the same, but Fluff is made by a costly, batch-whipping process. Creme is whipped in a continuous mixing process.
I served this with chocolate dipped Graham crackers and everyone said it tasted like a s’mores! It was a hit.
Great idea!! I will have to try that! Thank you!
I am going to make my Oreo cookie&cream poke cake, that usually only has a doctored up whipped topping, but I’m thinking this would be fantastic for the topping on the cake! What do you think? 🙂
oh wow! Adding marshmellow fluff makes a big dIffErence. My fAmily LoVed this dip!
Yum! I love the marshmallow fluff in it!
OnE of the best fruit dips ever! So simple and good to go with ant fruit. Perfect for summertime.

I make this all the time!
So easy, and so good. It’s always a hit at parties!
My all time favorite fruit dIp!
This is now my favorite fruit dip!! I made it for a family get together & it was gone in minutes. It is super easy to make & I love that it doesn’t require a lot of ingredients.
I can’t believe how esy this was to make. Dipped some fresh strawberries and RASPBERRIES into it and spread some on top of some pound cake cubes too! So so yummy! Thanks!
If you are diabetic, I think 1/4c. of sugar and no marshmallow fluff, would cut down on the carbs and sugars. making it healthier.
Thanks for sharing! Hope that helps!
Wonderful ideas and recipes..thanks for sharing
Awe, thank you so much!!
My fiancé currently has been making this amazing marshmallow whip-cream cheese fruit dip which is out of this world! That amazing deliciousness definitely is bribe worthy! I will do all the dirty household chores just to get a taste of that yummy fruit dip!
He just uses the marshmallow whip and cream cheese (2&2)
I bet it would be even tastier with all the added sugar!
I love to pair it with Honeydew,Green Apples, Strawberries, and Raspberries!
Love all your recipes!

If I’m allergic to marshmallows what is a substitute for that?
I wish I knew!!! Couldn’t really find anything online…anyone know??? I’d love to know!
You could use a sticky gelatin with a different flavouring just use less water. There might be artificial marshmallow flavourings you could add. Or use a different sweet flavouring like strawberries which goes great with cream cheese.
Howdy! Would you mind if I share your blo with mmy twitter
group? There’s a lot of people that I think would really appreciate your content.
Please lett me know. Cheers
Of course. Thanks!
Can I make this up tonight for tomorrow’s party?
You should be able to if you keep it refrigerated, and then I’d give it a good mix before serving. 😉
I made this and it was too sticky, imo. I hope I did not add too much fluff. I bought the smallest container. How many ounces of fluff should I have used.
I use the 7 ounce jar. We’ve made it several times and it never seemed sticky. Curious, if you used the generic brand and wondering if that made a difference…
Your Cheesecake Fruit Dip sounds simple and delicious! Thanks for the recipe!! Cheers =)
Let me know if you ever try it out – it’s a favorite for sure. 🙂
Hello, I have a question. You say 1 container marshmallow fluff and 1 tub cool whip. Well what size container and tub? They both come in many different size ounces, so I’m not sure what size to get for each!
I edited the recipe… both are the small containers. 🙂
Thank you! I made this on Thanksgiving and it tastes amazing! I will definitely be making this again.
Rachel, I do believe she meant 7 oz. of Marshmallow CREME and an 8 oz. tub of Cool Whip 🙂
When you say “bar of cream cheese” how much is that??
It is 8 oz. It is sold in a bar form at the store. Hope that helps.
Perfect…can’t wait to try it.
I think you’ll love it! Let me know how it tastes. 🙂
Mmmmmm….this sounds like a great dip for a party!
That’s exactly what I made it for, and it was SO good. Hope you like it too.
You had me at cheesecake!! Delicious!! Pinned it! Thanks for the recipe 🙂
You will LOVE it Crystal – it is seriously SO good!
Can you freeze this dip? also what is size of small tub? my store sells1Litre or 2 litre so that is 4cups or 8cups, but I think there is one smaller yet?
The tub is 7 ounces. Unfortunately, I have never tried freezing it before. :/
I have made this dip for years except my recipe doesn’t include the sugar. It is still sweet, creamy and fluffy. A family fave for sure!
I’m sure it’s just without the sugar as well. It’s definitely a new family favorite.
Thanks for posting this. It brought back some great memories.
My Mama used to make a similar, but easier recipe for fruit dip when I was growing up. She just mixed 8 oz cream cheese with a jar of marshmallow creme and 1 tsp vanilla butter & nut flavoring. She always served it dolloped on canned pears with a maraschino cherry on top. We always felt like it was such a fancy dessert back then.
Oooh, nut flavoring would be great in this recipe. Thanks for the tip, and thank you for stopping by. Have a great day. 🙂
Wow, this looks ahhmazing! Lorin is one lucky guy to be able to taste all of these fun things you make! I’m loving all of the recipes you’re posting, Kristyn. Thanks! And, btw, your pictures are incredible. Seriously, whenever I take a picture of food it looks like crap. You’re skilled!
Thank you so much, Laura! Poor Lorin liked all the food at first but he doesn’t have KC to play racquetball with to burn off all those extra calories! 😉
It was just granulated sugar. I’ve never had a problem with it being crunchy. You can add less sugar, if you want to try that and just mix real well. Hope it turns out better next time. 🙂
