Pink punch is, by far, our family’s FAVORITE drink.

We have this pineapple lemonade soda at most family functions because it’s easy, refreshing, and of course, SO delicious. Pink party punch only requires three ingredients and can be made in a minute, which is also a bonus.

We can’t remember where we got the recipe because we’ve been having it for years, but we can promise you this – if you try it, you’ll LOVE it! It’s especially good to drink on a hot summer day because it is quite refreshing.

We love delicious, refreshing drinks that are kid-friendly!! This version is a classic at parties, baby showers, weddings, and holidays. For more favorites, check out Cherry Limeade and Sprite Lemonade.

Why we think you’ll love it:

  • Only 3 ingredients! That’s it, just Sprite, pink lemonade powder, and pineapple juice for one fabulous drink.
  • Party perfect. That vibrant color instantly adds a fun and celebratory touch to any gathering.
  • Ready in minutes. This fizzy drink is ready in no time! You can easily jazz it up with fresh strawberries or a slice of pineapple to make it even more fun.

Pink Punch Ingredients and Substitutions

  • 1 (48-ounce) can DOLE pineapple juice – We use DOLE pineapple juice, but other brands can be used.
  • 1 cup pink lemonade mix – or another flavor of lemonade
  • 1 (2-liter) bottle Sprite or 7UP – or another lemon-lime soda or ginger ale
Pink punch in a mason jar with pink and yellow straws.

How to Make Pink Punch

  1. MIX. Add pineapple juice and lemonade mix to a large pitcher. Right before serving, add 2 liter of Sprite and mix well. Add ice and ENJOY!
  • This punch looks so delicious and pretty in a glass pitcher, bowl, or beverage dispenser. To really make it shine, add sliced lemons, pineapple rings, and strawberries.
  • Do not mix the powder with water as stated on the can. You are only using the lemonade powder in the recipe.
  • Be sure to mix the lemonade with the pineapple juice. If you add the powder last, then it will fizz so much that it overflows.
  • Pink lemonade is our favorite to use, but regular yellow lemonade, blue raspberry lemonade, or cherry limeade lemonade mix can be used.
  • Ice cubes can melt and water down the punch. We like to add complementary frozen fruits to the punch bowl. Another idea is to make a small batch of punch ahead of time and freeze it into ice cubes.

Made this for a baby shower and got great comments about it! I doubled it for 25 and had one liter leftover. It has a coral/peach color which matched the decorations perfectly.

I think I should clarify…I freeze the lemonade & pineapple juice into a freezer bag ahead of time & add Sprite to make it slushy in my punch bowl when serving. Everyone loves it & it’s much easier(and cheaper) than my other punch recipes! I have rum on the side if any adults want to add to their own cup. Thank you for this great recipe! 🍋💖

Hello. I am going to make your pink punch next weekend for a baby shower. I’m concerned a lot of the comments are saying it looks “more orange”. Have you had this experience or any suggestions of what to do or what “not” to do for this??

I made the punch last week for a school event; it tasted real good, put it wasn’t pink. It actually turned orange; what did I do wrong?

    1. Bean says:

I had the same experience! Orange punch! And I had picked this recipe for the pink color. I used the exact brand ingredients that she listed/showed, too. Oh well. It was delicious. I used 1/2 Sprite and 1/2 club soda so that it wouldn’t be too sweet. Worked perfectly. Thinking maybe the author of the recipe added food coloring to get it to be pink…

  19. Shanika says:

Do you still use the water for the lemonade?

Made 4 batches for about 45ppl with other cooler drinks. Family Reunion.
Everyone really ranted over this. I made lemonade cups w lemon slices and froze in cups placed in muffin tin. Place ingredients and ice in large jug w dispenser (maybe 3gallons)
Was plenty for a large crowd w maybe 1/2 gallon left
Event was over 4-5 hrs so this was plenty
    Thanks for sharing!! Crowd pleaser

This is a pretty punch. I propose freezing extra pineapple juice in a jello mold to place in the punchbowl to keep it cold. That looks pretty and will not water down the punch.

  40. Sally Bryan says:

    5 stars
This is a great punch for parties, although it is rather on the sweet side. Sometimes I don’t put as much pineapple juice and will add a bit of water. I also use the pineapple rings to make the bowl pretty. I have also used mint sprigs to add some color variation. Always a great drink.

  41. Judy Uhl says:

This looks so refreshing and cool on a hot summer day! Yum

  42. Gayle says:

I have not tried the Pink Punch recipe and am thinking about using for my Mom’s 100th birthday party? If all the ingredients are cold, do you have to use the ice?

    1. Lil'Luna Team says:

How fun!! Congrats to your mom. That is exciting! Nope, you don’t have to serve with ice. It would be delicious without if you already have cold ingredients.

  43. Glenda Stark says:

  45. Jessica says:

    4 stars
Delicious and enjoyed by all, but it is not pink! And yes I used the powdered Country Time pink lemonade mix . It is peach colored as pictured. I wanted a pink punch but this sufficed and as I said was delicious and nobody complained that it wasn’t pink LOL having scanned the reviews, I upped the amount of pink lemonade mix to see if it would help but it did not. I doubled the recipe and used the entire 19 Oz canister.

    1. Lil'Luna Team says:

Thanks for sharing what you did. I’m glad it was enjoyed by everyone!!

    2. Tammy says:

Add raspberry sherbet to make it more pink. It’s delicious

  46. Denise says:

Super yummy and super easy!!! So many other punch recipes require many items. I like being able to have the ingredients in my pantry.

Made this for a friends baby shower and it was a huge hit! I will definitely be making again. Thank you for sharing.

    1. Lil'Luna Team says:

You’re welcome! I’m so glad to hear the punch was enjoyed!

  50. Marilyn says:

Would adding sherbet decrease the carbonation?

    1. Lil'Luna Team says:

It might a little. I imagine the more you stir the sherbet in, the more the carbonation decreases? But I haven’t tried this with sherbet before. You’ll have to let me know how it turns out if you do… and if it loses its carbonation.

  51. Tonya Hobbs says:

I’ve got to make this. It sounds so good. The only thing I would do is add pineapple or lime sherbet.

    1. Lil'Luna Team says:

That would be a tasty addition as well. Hope you enjoy the drink!

  52. Morgan says:

I plan on making this for a baby shower. I’m going to be making 1.5-2 gallons, would doubling the recipe be enough?

    1. Lil'Luna Team says:

Yes, that should be about right!

  53. Shelby Friar says:

This looks really good! but I would like to serve alcohol in it. Any requests for alcohol to put in the punch?

Would appreciate the feedback! Thank you!

    1. LilLunaTeam says:

I wish I could help you on that but I don’t drink alcohol so I wouldn’t be able to give you the best advice on what kind of alcohol goes best with this pineapple pink lemonade soda. Sorry about that!

  54. Diane says:

Oh that’s so awesome to hear!! So glad that the punch it a hit!

  55. james says:

Love this! I don’t understand those who say it isn’t pink, unless they are using pink lemonade, versus just the pink lemonade MIX.

  56. Justine says:

    5 stars
Love this! I don’t understand those who say it isn’t pink, unless they are using pink lemonade, versus just the pink lemonade MIX. I used Kool-aide brand unsweetened and it balanced well with the sweetness of the pineapple juice.

  57. Marie Whitaker says:

How much ice do I need to add?

    1. Lil'Luna Team says:

The less ice you use, the less watered down the punch will become. So I’d recommend making sure the pineapple juice and sprite are cold so you can use less. Then just add as much ice to the pitcher as you feel you need to keep it cold.

      1. Sonia says:

If I don’t have Lemonade mix but have ready-made pink Lemonade how much of it do I add?

      2. Lil'Luna Team says:

You could try using the same amount as the mix. The flavor ratios might be slightly different since you are using a ready-made lemonade, but I imagine it will still taste yummy. You just might have to play around with the amount of lemonade until it is the amount you like.

    2. Titianna M. says:

Hello. About how many 1 cup scoops can you get out out of the 19 Oz can of Pink Lemonade mix?

      1. Lil'Luna Team says:

You should be able to get two full 1 cup scoops with a little leftover.

I made the punch for my family. I followed the directions exactly. When I added the Sprite and mixed well. The punch overflowed like a volcano. I didn’t put the powder last like you stated not to do. Any reason why it did that?

    1. Lil'Luna Team says:

Oh no! I’m sorry to hear it overflowed. Perhaps the bottle of soda had been shaken up a little? Or poured in too quickly? I’m not sure why it overflowed if you added the powder before the sprite. I always pour the soda in slowly, which may help. Not quite sure what caused the overflow. I haven’t had that happen when adding at the end.

    1. Lil'Luna Team says:

No water is necessary for the recipe. I’d suggest just following the directions using ingredients listed. Hope the baby shower goes well! 🙂

  64. June says:

    This recipe sounds yummy,
I want to do one with non-alcohol and one without.
Can I add alcohol? would I need to do anything different.? (Vodka or rum)

    1. Lil'Luna Team says:

Ooh I have never tried adding alcohol to this recipe, so I’m not much help there. However, you probably could! Probably just add the alcohol of your choice to taste. And you can slightly adjust other ingredients as well to achieve the flavor you like.

Quick question – is the pink lemonade mix to be used supposed to be something like the Country Time brand lemonade mixes (that are pre-sweetened)? thanks!

I MADE THIS FOR MY SISTER’S BABY SHOWER YESTERDAY, FOLLOWING YOUR RECIPE TO EXACT MEASUREMENTS, AND EVERYONE LOVED IT. I DIDN’T ADD ICE, BECAUSE I DIDN’T WANT IT TO WATER DOWN OVER THE DURATION OF THE PARTY, BUT I HAD A BOWL OF ICE NEXT TO IT TO ADD TO CUPS. I ALSO ADDED SOME FROZEN PINEAPPLE CHUNKS TO TOP OFF THE PUNCH, WHICH HELPED TO KEEP IT COOL FOR A WHILE. IT LOOKED BEAUTIFUL AND TASTED EVEN BETTER. I WILL DEFINITELY USE THIS RECIPE AGAIN AND AGAIN!

    1. Kristyn Merkley says:

Yay, I am so glad!! It’s our favorite! Thank you so much for making it & for letting me know!

Hi, I saw where you said you had done this with blue raspberry too? What mix did you use for this? I am trying to make a pink lemonade and blue for my gender reveal this weekend but I don’t know what to use. 🙂

    1. Kristyn Merkley says:

I use the powder lemonade mix. You can find it in blueberry, if you want blue 🙂 Have fun at your party!!

May you please exPlain what is pin lemonade mix or if possible share the recipe of it

    1. Kristyn Merkley says:

PIN is if you use Pinterest & would like to PIN the recipe to one of your boards or you can just print it 🙂

  104. Melissa Reis says:

Can I make this with frozen lemonade?

    1. Kristyn Merkley says:

I have not made this with frozen lemonade. It will change it. I have only used the powder mix. One way to find out 😉

  105. Kirsten says:

    Hi KRISTYN,

i live in Australia and UNFORTUNATELY, I don’t have access to country time pink lemonade mix (or any lemonade powder mix for that matter). i can HOWEVER find kool-aid SACHETS. WHAT SORT OF RECIPE WOULD YOU SUGGEST ME TRY WITH THE KOOL AID? I have never had KOOL-AID before so am unsure what flavour or how many sachets to get. It is for a pink baby shower and i was hoping to double or even triple the recipe.

    Thanks!

    1. Kirsten says:

Goodness me. sorry, i didn’t realise that some of that was in caps.

This has become a family favorite. So delicious!

    2. Kristyn Merkley says:

Sorry, you can’t find it there. I have not tried this with kool-aid, but it might still be yummy! Maybe do a trial run first 🙂 There is one cup of lemonade mix, so you could just do a cup of kool-aid mix, equal measurements. There is a pink lemonade flavor, so I’d do that one. Good luck!

      1. Kirsten says:

Thank you for your speedy response. I shall have a play and let fellow Australian’s Know how i go 🙂

      2. Kristyn Merkley says:

You are so welcome! Good luck!

  106. Ashlie says:

Do you pEpare the lemonade mix or just add the powder?

    1. Lil'Luna Team says:

      Just add the powder 🙂

  107. Jessica says:

i cant have carbonatIon, any way arounD that?

    1. Kristyn Merkley says:

Hmm..what do you use instead of carbonation normally? Maybe substitute that instead?

  119. Suni Smoot says:

When it says one cup lemonade mix do you mean one actual measured cup or is it one scoop from the lemonAde box.

      1. Margaret says:

quick, easy, inexpensive the cost to make two recipes was approximately $10.00. Made for an afternoon tea for seniors. Everyone enjoyed it and asked for recipe. One commented that it wasn’t sweet as as most punch but very refreshing.
I do advise to make sure you put lemonade powder in container first before adding liquid ingredients. The CARBONATION from sprite causes a reaction with powder and it will fizz – possibly spilling out from the container.
This will become a favorite at our parties. I will try with other flavors of Lemonade.

    1. Kristyn Merkley says:

Yes, it does cause quite a fizz!! We add the sprite or 7up at the very end. Thank you so much for sharing the recipe.

  121. Jen says:

Can you make this A Day ahead of time and Refrigrate?

  122. Becky says:

Has anyone ever tried it with sherbet?

    1. Kristyn Merkley says:

No, but that would be good!!

  123. Connie says:

Is it 1 Cup of lemonade powder or one scoop?

  135. Lori Underwood says:

How many servings does the lemonade punch make?

    1. Lil' Luna says:

That’s a good question! I haven’t tried! One way to find out 🙂

  141. Sheri A says:

I can’t find pink lemonade mix anywhere (I live in Calgary, AB, Canada). Would it work if I bought Frozen Pink Lemonade?

    1. Lil' Luna says:

It needs to be the powder. It turns out differently with the already made frozen lemonade. Can you order it online?

    2. Laura says:

      3 stars
I made the recipe as directed. I added lemons and frozen raspberries. The presentation was beautiful. On taste-too much pineapple juice. I’d add 3/4th of the can and taste test it. It’s ok as written, but too much pineapple juice.

      1. Kristyn Merkley says:

Thank you for trying it 🙂

  142. alondra reyes says:

    I have a question…..
Do i make l pink lemonade 1st with water then add the juice and sprite?
Or do i mix the powder to the sprite and juice?

    1. Lil' Luna says:

No, don’t make pink lemonade first. You add the powder to the juice & I like to add the sprite or 7up right before I serve it. Hope that helps and hope you like it!! It’s our favorite go-to drink!

  143. Teresa Miller says:

Was the question ever answered if the recipe is 1 liter or 2 liter Sprite?

    1. Lil' Luna says:

It is one 2 liter bottle 🙂

  144. Tanya Ingram says:

About how many will this serve? I’m using for a baby shower and expect 16 people.

    1. Lil' Luna says:

Don’t know an exact number, but it should be enough for 16 people. I always double the recipe for parties, only because it’s so good & you’ll want more 🙂 Have fun!

  145. Tanya says:

Have you ever added strawberries? I wonder how it would taste.

    1. Lil' Luna says:

I haven’t, but it sounds yum! Let me know if you try!

  146. Laura says:

I made this using a whole 2-liter (sugar free) instead of 1 liter, and it was delicious. I served it to a party of adults, and everyone had seconds, including my husband, who’s not a big punch fan. Our house guests even had some for breakfast the next morning!

    1. Lil' Luna says:

We love this recipe!! It’s our go-to drink recipe, especially for parties!! Thanks so much for sharing!

I must say, these recipes are great. In my neck of the woods these recipes are totally appropriate right now, so thank you! Also, the images are fantastic… 🙂

  154. Sara says:

Wow! That’s a lot of carbs. . .pure sugar. I will try to cut that down. I don’t want any of my family drinking that much sugar. It sounds delicious, I will try to see how I can change.

    1. Colleen says:

Sara, that’s what I’m thinking. Every component is high sugar! But it does sound good. Did you lighten it up without using an artificial sweetner?

      1. Lil' Luna says:

It is very sugar-y. Have you tried it with Crystal Light?

    2. Chan says:

      5 stars
for those wanting to cut out the sugar, you could try sugar free lemonade drink mix, or even unsweetned packages of koolaid to mix in with a premade diet lemonade. perhaps fresh fruit pineapple instead of the jiuce and diet sprite. not sure how it would taste, but worth a shot if you are concerned.

      1. Kristyn Merkley says:

        That sounds perfect! Thank you!

  155. Marsha @ Marsha's Baking Addiction says:

Wow, this look so simple and tasty!

  159. Phen says:

This was delicious. I am lucky that I have an ice crusher and, and having this as a slush is just the BEST on a hot day.

    1. Lil' Luna says:

Slushy form of this would be amazing!!

      1. Phen says:

It really is amazing! Especially on one of those lazy hot summer days in the garden 😉 My fav kind.

Can I use frozen concentrate instead of powder mix?

      2. Kristyn Merkley says:

I have not tried. It would change the outcome, but it may work 🙂

  164. Angele Coburn says:

Hi, I made this tonight for a church activity. It was delicious. I thought I would add a note. I mixed the pineapple juice and Sprite first and then added the powder. This caused a chemical reaction and the punch fizzed up and over the punch bowl. Luckily I was right near a sink. It was quite funny.

    1. Lil' Luna says:

Thanks for the tip Angele…. have never had that happen. Glad you thought it was delicious. 😀

Hi the same thing happened to me sat night. I added the powder to the liquid and POOF it exploded over the top. Luckily we were on the patio and we just washed it down.
      The drink itself was delicious
      Thank you

      1. Lil' Luna says:

You have to pour extremely slow..that helps it to not over flow. Sorry that happened!

How much would you need for a party of 75 people for a baby shower?

      1. Lil'Luna Team says:

Each batch serves about 12. So you’d want to multiply the recipe a few times, for sure. It kind of depends on how large your serving glasses are as well.

  165. Bethany says:

Oh yum! This will be perfect for a baby show I am planning, thanks for sharing!

  166. Lorraine says:

I am going to try this out tomorrow. I couldn’t find it at the Sobeys (canada super market) here but i did find frozen pink lemonade so heres hoping it works the same!

    1. Lil' Luna says:

Keep me posted on how the frozen lemonade works… I’ve always only used the powder. Good luck. 😀

    2. Melissa Reis says:

Did u use a whole can of frozen?

    3. Becky says:

Im planning to use this recipe for a 90th bi party. You really do mean an 8 oz cup of pInk lemonade in the recipe and not the little”cUp” inside the lemonade container, right??? Stupid ques, i kNow, but i assumed a real CUp in another recipe…it was not supp to be a real cup! Laugh.

      1. Kristyn Merkley says:

No worries at all..it’s a great question. It is 1 cup of the mix, not the little cup inside. I hope everyone loves it as much as we do!

  167. Kristen @ Celebrate Every Day With Me says:

Quick question (I’m at the store)- the recipe says 1liter but picture shows a 2liter bottle. Just wanted to make sure. Thanks!!

    1. Lucinda says:

I have the same question, Kristen. How much did you end up using?

      1. Kristen @ Celebrate Every Day With Me says:

I followed the recipe (not the picture) and used 1L. I was doubling it so it was very easy to measure. This is delicious! You’ll love it.

      2. Lil' Luna says:

Yay – so glad you liked it! Thank you for stopping by. 🙂

      3. Brandi says:

So is the recipe above correct? Is it doubled? Is that why it says to use 2L of Sprite?

      4. Kristyn Merkley says:

It is one 2 liter of sprite 🙂

  168. Shannon Allen says:

I’m so excited to try this. Thanks for sharing.

    1. Lil' Luna says:

You’re welcome, Shannon. Would love to know what you think of it. 🙂

      2. Lil' Luna says:

Yay..I’m so glad! Thanks for letting me know!

      3. Ann says:

How many servings does this recipe usually make?

      4. Kristyn Merkley says:

It’s maybe close to 12 one cup servings. It makes quite a bit, just depends on how much you pour in the cups.

      5. Debra Pyfrom says:

Can this recipe be halved ?
Would that affect the flavor ?

      6. Lil'Luna Team says:

You can half it! There is a setting on the recipe card where you can adjust the servings and it’ll tell you how much of each ingredient you need. Halving it would be pretty simple and still taste the very same. 🙂

      7. Gene Chandler says:

        Pineapple lemonade impeccable

  172. katie says:

This looks so good! How much of each ingredient do you put in though?

    1. Lil' Luna says:

The recipe card was missing, but it’s there now. 🙂
