Have you ever made Turtle Candy? It’s one of those homemade candies that we try to make every Christmas.

Although we think Turtles are pretty easy to make, we came up with another Turtle-like treat that is even easier and tastes just as good. With just 3 ingredients and 3 easy steps, the whole family can enjoy these in no time. Plus, they’re made in under 20 minutes and are so simple even the kids can make them!

We love to make a few batches (since they are so quick and easy) so we have plenty for gifting and for ourselves. A word of warning though, they are super addictive!

Rolo Pretzel Turtles Ingredients and Substitutions

20 small mini pretzels
20 chocolate-covered caramel candies – such as Rolo candy
20 pecan halves

How to Make Rolo Pretzel Turtles

PREP. Preheat the oven to 300°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
ASSEMBLE. Arrange pretzels in a single layer on the prepared cookie sheet. Place one caramel candy on top of each pretzel.
BAKE. Bake until the caramels soften (about 3-5 minutes).
- Remove from the oven and immediately press a pecan half into each warm caramel. Cool completely before serving.

Ingredients

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 300°F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Arrange pretzels in a single layer on the prepared cookie sheet. Place one caramel candy on top of each pretzel.

Remove from the oven and immediately press a pecan half into each warm caramel. Cool completely before serving.

Notes

Store. Once cooled and set, store in an airtight container at room temperature for 7-10 days.
