How to Make Taco Dip
Remember how I said this can be made in 5 minutes? I love a good quick easy recipe. In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sour cream and taco seasoning. Spread the mixture in a 9 inch serving dish. Then top it with:
- bell peppers
- And any other toppings (avocado, green onions, cilantro, etc)
It’s that simple!

The possibilities are almost endless when it comes to toppings for taco dip! It doesn’t end with the ingredients in this recipe. You could also try these suggestions to change things up.
- black beans
- refried beans
- different kinds of cheese
We hope you love this taco dip as much as we do!
Best items to dip:
- tortilla chips, Fritos
- pita chips
- carrots or celery sticks
Can you make taco dip ahead of time? Mix the cream cheese, sour cream and taco seasoning together. Keep this mixture in the fridge the night before you need to serve it. Prepare the rest of the ingredients and keep them separate and in the fridge until you’re ready to assemble the dip and serve.
How long can it sit out? Make sure your taco dip doesn’t sit out on the counter for more than 2 hours. Keep it covered in the fridge if you want to eat some later in the day. It will last in the fridge for 3-4 days.
