You guys all know how much I love desserts, especially cookies. Well, this next recipe is one of the kids’ favorites, and here’s why – they are the ones who came up with the recipe. They’re called Cookies n Cream Cookies.
Practically every day when I’m crafting or baking, my two oldest (who are 3 and 5) beg to help out. I love having little helpers in the kitchen and gladly welcome them there beside me. Well, several months ago my daughter said she wanted to do the baking and wanted to add some secret ingredients to our classic Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe. This is what she ended up creating. Since then the kids are almost always by my side when I’m in the kitchen, and I absolutely LOVE it!! I’m not going to lie… they sometimes get in the way and make big messes but at the same time, we have made so many fun family memories and have had great conversations and teaching opportunities that I wouldn’t give up for the world.
