Caramel Apple Snickers Dip

I share too many sweets, I know. I just LOVE finding good treats to make for parties, BBQs, church get togethers and holidays.

I’ve realized over the years that we have our favorite “go-to” dessert recipes that we’ve made PLENTY of times, and it’s nice to have new treats on hand. 😉

We’ve been making Apple Brickle Dip for so long (it’s a perfect fruit dip and is a classic baby shower recipe we like to have) and I knew adding Snickers and Caramel syrup to it would make it even better. I mean, you can’t really go wrong when adding Snickers to any treat, right?! 😉

The kids also loved this Apple Dip, so if you’re looking for a treat to make for Family night or even for a birthday party, this is a great one. It takes minutes to put together and will be gone in minutes too. 😉

It may defeat the purpose of eating something healthy like apples with this delicious dip, but man – IT’S GOOD!!!

How to make Snickers Dip

One of the reasons I love making treats so much is because the kids love to join me in making them. It’s one of my favorite things in the whole world to get in the kitchen with the kids and making something yummy together. This recipe is simple enough for them to help with.

COMBINE. Blend cream cheese, brown sugar, sugar, vanilla and 1-2 TB caramel syrup together with mixer.

FOLD + SERVE. Once well combined, fold in half the snickers. Top with remaining snickers pieces and caramel syrup. Serve immediately.

And that’s it! If you’re making it in advance, refrigerate the dip without snickers and caramel on top, then add them right before serving.

Tips + Serving info

Snicker Substitute: If you’re not a fan of snickers you can easily use Milky Way candy bars. In fact, many types of candy bars would work. Reeses cups, butter fingers,

If you are a fan of Snickers here are a few recipes you’ll want to try:

Not just for apples: Apples are our preferred mode of transporting the dip from the bowl to our mouths, but they are not the only way. You can use

  • Graham Crackers
  • Vanilla Wafers
  • Golden Oreos
  • Pretzels
  • Spoon

Keep apples from browning: When you plan to serve apples you don’t want them turning browns as they sit out. My favorite way to keep this from happening is to use Fresh Fruit. It can usually be found in the food storage section next to the canning jars. You can also spritz the apples with lemon juice or ginger ale.
