Recipe FAQ
Add lemon or orange zest. Flavor with some fresh thyme or rosemary. Sprinkle on some cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, or cayenne pepper.
These are best when freshly cooked but can be prepped the day before. Wash and boil the carrots according to the recipe. Drain and cool. Place in an airtight storage container and refrigerate. Let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before heating with the butter, honey, lemon juice, and other seasonings.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Freeze for up to 2 months. They will be much softer after being frozen, but still delicious.
