- Perfect for parties. Great for dipping with extra sauce and finger-food ready.

Pizza Pinwheels Ingredients
- Crescent sheet (1, 8 ounce can): Soft, ready to roll dough that bakes into tender, flaky layers for easy pinwheels.
- Shredded mozzarella cheese (1 ยฝ to 2 cups): Melts stretchy and creamy, giving classic pizzeria pull in every bite.
- Pizza sauce, divided (1, 14 ounce jar): Some for spreading inside, the rest for dipping, adds tomatoey zip and moisture.
- Italian seasoning (to taste): Brings herby aroma and that familiar pizza shop flavor.
- Pizza toppings, optional (as desired): Pepperoni, olives, bell pepper, or mushrooms add color, texture, and more flavor.
How to Make Pizza Pinwheels
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Add foil to a baking sheet and lightly grease. Set aside.

Roll out the crescent sheet onto a lightly floured surface. Spread ยผ – ยฝ cup of pizza sauce on top of the crescent sheet. Sprinkle on italianing seasoning, mozzarella cheese and pepperoni (or other toppings).

Roll up the dough lengthwise and cut with a sharp knife into 10 pieces (a little over 1 inch wide each).

Place onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 11-13 minutes or until golden brown. Serve our pizza pinwheel recipe warm with remaining pizza sauce or marinara.

Kristyn’s Recipe Tips
- For clean slices, chill the filled roll 10 to 15 minutes, then cut with a sharp serrated knife.
- Leave a ยฝ inch border on the long edge so the seam seals and cheese stays inside.
- Do not overload toppings; a light, even layer prevents leaks and helps pinwheels hold shape and stay assembled.
