These Charcuterie Cups are my new favorite easy party appetizer because they have all the flavors of a classic board placed into cute, portable single servings.

Why does everyone love them? Every cup gets salty meats, creamy cheese, fresh fruit, crunchy nuts, and crisp crackers, so guests can mingle and snack without hovering over a tray or trying to scoop from a plate.

Charcuterie Cups Ingredients

  • Cheese cubes (1 cup): Creamy, savory bites that add richness and variety; mixing styles gives different textures and flavors in every cup.
  • Meat (24 pieces, salami or pepperoni): Salty, savory protein that pairs with cheese and fruit, giving that classic charcuterie balance.
  • Nuts (almonds, pistachios, etc): Crunchy contrast and a toasty note, plus they help anchor items at the bottom of the cup.
  • Grapes (1 cup): Juicy sweetness that refreshes the palate between the salty components.
  • Blackberries (1 cup): Tart sweet pop and deep color for a pretty presentation.
  • Whole strawberries (1 cup): A showy topper that adds fragrance and a fresh, juicy finish.
  • Breadsticks (6): Tall, crisp element for height and a satisfying crunch with cheese and meat.
  • Tall crackers (12): Sturdy dippers that slide into the cup without crumbling.
  • Rosemary sprigs (6): Aromatic garnish that makes each cup look festive and smell amazing.
  • Short skewers: Keep small bites tidy and easy to grab, and add a vertical element for visual interest.

How to Assemble Charcuterie Cups

Make 12 skewers by adding 3 cheese cubes and 2 pieces of meat to each skewer in the pattern of cheese – meat – cheese – meat – cheese. Set aside.

Take each cup, and add a few nuts to the bottom of the cup. Add a few grapes and blackberries on top of the nuts.

Then, add a breadstick and 2 tall crackers to each cup. Add a sprig of rosemary to the cup. Add 2 skewers to each cup followed by a whole strawberry or two.

Assemble right before serving.

Kristyn’s Recipe Tips

  • Cut cheeses into uniform cubes so they stack neatly and portion evenly.
  • Layer heavier items first, nuts and grapes, then add crackers and breadsticks so they stay crisp.
  • Mix at least two cheeses and two meats for variety without overcomplicating assembly.
  • For travel, pack cups snugly in a shallow box. Wait to add crackers on site if humidity is high.
