My Favorite Copycat!

While we don’t eat fast food super often, we do love Chick-fil-A. Of course, our kids love Chick-fil-A Nuggets, but what makes them so irresistible are the sauces! While I love their Polynesian sauce, Chick Fil A sauce has to be my favorite.

You can buy Chick fil A sauce at the restaurant or sometimes find it in grocery stores. Another option is to make your own homemade version.

All you need is a handful of ingredients! Follow these tips to get the best version possible. I’m already craving a side of Chick-fil-A’s original sauce to pair with my nuggets or Homemade French Fries!

It Starts with the Ingredients

What is Chick fil A sauce? All you need are a few basic ingredients to create the best copycat Chick-fil-A sauce.

  • Mayonnaise can be full fat or light. Be sure to use real mayonnaise and not Miracle Whip or Salad Dressing.
  • The mustard needs to be plain yellow mustard but dijon mustard can be used for an added layer of flavor.
  • The BBQ sauce can be your favorite brand and flavor.
  • Honey for a bit of sweetness.
  • Lemon juice can be freshly squeezed or lemon juice concentrate from a bottle.
