We LOVE Cinnamon Rolls in our family! Due to the yeast, most cinnamon roll recipes can take several hours to whip up. Fortunately, these cinnamon bites take only 30 minutes and have all of that delicious gooey cinnamon flavor. When you’re looking for cinnamon goodness but are short on time, these cinnabites are AMAZING!
The reason this breakfast is so quick and easy to make is that it starts with a canned biscuit shortcut! The steps are so simple, it only takes 10 minutes to prep. This breakfast is an easy, breezy 30-minute favorite.

Cinnamon Bites Ingredients and Substitutions
Bites
- 1 (16-ounce) can refrigerated biscuits – 8 count package, or use 16 ounces of homemade biscuit dough
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted – We used unsalted butter, but salted butter can be used.
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon – or try a Pumpkin Spice blend
Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons milk






How to Make Cinnamon Bites
- PREP. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease an 8×8 pan. Place the cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl and mix well. Set aside.
- DOUGH. Cut the biscuit dough into quarters, and dip balls in the cinnamon sugar mixture, coating completely.
- BAKE. Place the pieces in the baking dish, close together, and cover with melted butter. Bake for 20-22 minutes until the bites are cooked through and browned on the outside.
- GLAZE. Mix glaze ingredients until well combined and drizzle over warm biscuits.

Kristyn’s Recipe Tips
- Instead of a vanilla glaze, try topping with Cream Cheese Icing.
- For an easy variation, toss in some chopped nuts or raisins.
- Instead of canned biscuits, use Homemade Biscuit Dough. Weigh out 16 ounces, gently roll into an 8×4-inch rectangle, and cut into 32 equal pieces.
- For easy biscuit removal and clean up, line the pan with parchment paper.

Recipe FAQ
Prepare cinnamon roll bites the night before. Cover and store them in the fridge, then bake them in the morning!
Bake ahead and cool before wrapping tightly with plastic wrap and aluminum foil. Freeze for 4-6 weeks. Thaw overnight, remove the plastic, and replace the foil. Reheat in a 350°F oven for about 15 minutes, or until warm throughout.
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days or freeze for about 1 month. Reheat small portions in the microwave.

I love these!! I actually modified the recipe a little bit and I use rhodes frozen rolls instead and it is SO good! I just thaw them, cut them into 1/4 pieces and roll them in the cinnamon & brown sugar mixture. then I let them rise and then put butter on them and throw them in the oven. 15/10 recommend trying the recipe like this! I make it all the time and it’s always gone the same day I make it because everyone loves it!
