If you have ever been to The Cheesecake Factory you may have tried their Avocado Egg Rolls. If you haven’t, you really should go and try them because they are absolutely HEAVENLY!! My family found a copycat recipe that we now love and use all the time that I think you will love too. It is super easy and the end result is AH-MAZING!!

How to make Egg Rolls:

Once you’ve made these once you’ll realize just how easy they are. Grab a kid or the spouse to help form an assembly line and it’s even easier. Here’s what you have to do…

  1. In a bowl, stir together vinegars, honey and saffron. Heat for one minute in the microwave.
  2. Puree this mixture in a blender adding cashews, 2/3 cup cilantro, garlic, sugar, pepper and cumin. Pour into a bowl and add the oil. Stir and refrigerate.
  3. In a bowl, stir together avocado, tomatoes, 1 tsp. cilantro and salt. Add 1/3 of the mixture onto the center of each egg roll wrapper.
  4. Position the wrapper so the corner is pointing towards you. Fold the bottom corner up over the filling. Fold remaining corners up over the filling and brushing the corners with egg to secure in place. Roll up from the bottom folding the top corner over all. Seal with egg and repeat for remaining wrappers.
  5. Fry egg rolls for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with dipping sauce.

Place the avocado mixture in the middle, fold in the sides and then the bottom. Then pull top over and adhere with water or egg before frying.

  1. Love this recipe! Exactly like the restaurant’s. Have made them several times since your original posting and received rave reviews. Thanks for sharing!

  2. OMG. …… OMG.

Sorry, I can’t seem to stop gaping at this. Avocado egg rolls? I’m dying.

Since I sill have wrappers from your other egg roll recipe I made last weekend, this is pretty much fate, no? (Those were awesome, BTW.) 🙂

  4. Hi!
I was wondering about the sundried tomatoes packed in oil?
Is that something you actually buy or you make?
If it’s not obvious, I’m not much of a cook lol but I’ve been trying to get into cooking recently and I want to try this recipe SO BAD!

  5. I am so excited to try these! Just looking for some clarification on the frying part. Do you deep fry them, or pan fry them in a little bit of oil? Thanks! 🙂

    1. Good question – just fry them in a pan with a little bit of oil. I would fry each side for a few minutes until it’s all golden brown. You’ll love them! 😀

  6. Hi! This recipe looks amazing! One qck question though: it calls for 3 wrappers, does that mean this recipe only makes 3 egg rolls? Has anyone tried using wonton wrappers for mini ones? Thanks for sharing, can’t wait to try it!

  7. These are amazing! The dipping sauce definitely makes the meal! I didn’t have saffron so I just didn’t use it and it was still delicious. Thanks for the recipe.

  8. I have to try this! I would leave out the cilantro tho. Can’t stand that stuff, but everything else looks delicious!
Where do I find the egg roll wrappers?

  9. Have some fun trying to think up a few catchy
names for your website. Have you been searching for really funny pictures online that will make you laugh.
These freebies can help you effectively combat stress.

  10. They look so good! Im trying to make them with some meat in the as well! But, are they freeze-able? Before frying them? Are the avocados going to hold up in the freezer without turning brown?

    1. I personally haven’t, I’m not sure how the avocado would hold up a day before. Anytime, I use avocado, I add it right before, because it gets brown so fast. You could try?? I’d love to know, if you do!

  11. The SAUCE alone is amazing! Thank you for posting this copycat recipe. It was delicious and totally satisfied my craving for these suckers from the restaurant.

  12. Made this for luncj today. we Loved it! My husband ABsolutely loves these and now we can make them at home!! I cooked them in an air fryer and they came out crispy and SOoooo good.
