I wanted to show you today how I made some decor for my bedroom.
I must say, our bedroom gets the shaft compared to everywhere else in the house, but for once I decided to make something cute to hang above the bed.
I had bought this vintage window at a local store for $15 a few months ago.
Just a few weeks ago I decided what to do with it.
I went outside to take measurements and the glass had shattered everywhere!
It had fallen over THAT DAY!
Of course!
Well, the hubby is super kind and fixed it for me.
This is what I did with it…
I included words/phrases I associate with us:
{from “Fools Rush In”}
Bliss.
Invincible {the Muse song}
etc.
I added it to the window,
and then added a wreath I bought for a BUCK at Savers.
I LOVE how it turned out, and am glad that it adds a little something to the bedroom.
What’s even better was that it was
QUICK & EASY!

UPDATE – 4/2013
Since we’ve moved I’ve kept the window but ended up ditching the wreath (it was just covering up too much of what I LOVED about the window – the words).
I stenciled the master and still put the window above our bed. I LOVE how it is.
What’s crazy is we just finished decorating most the master, and now we’re moving. Looks like we get to start over fresh next month when we move. Oh, the joy!
