Ingredients for making brown sugar beanie weenies.

Ingredients

  • 1 (14-ounce) package of mini smoky links – Litโ€™l Smokies come in a few different varieties and any of them taste great in this recipe. Buy them made with beef, smoked sausage, or pork and chicken.
  • 1 cup brown sugar – light or dark brown sugar
  • 1 cup pineapple juice

How to Make Beanie Weenies

  1. PREP. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF.
  2. ASSEMBLE. Spread 1 (14-ounce) package of little smoky links in a baking dish and crumble 1 cup brown sugar over the top. Pour 1 cup pineapple juice over the smokies.
  3. BAKE. Bake for 45 minutes. After the sugar has dissolved, baste 3-4 times during the 45-minute baking time. Serve hot.

Recipe Tips

  • Lil’ smokies are already cooked so all you are doing is flavoring and reheating them.
  • Basting is when you take the juices from the pan and pour them over the top of the dish to keep it moist and flavorful.
