This creamy BLT Dip is the ultimate warm, cheesy, party dip! It’s loaded with cream cheese, cheese, and sour cream, then baked and topped with crispy bacon, shredded lettuce and fresh tomato!
Hot dips are the way to go for party appetizers. If you agree, you might want to try Artichoke Dip, Buffalo Chicken Dip, or Chicken Enchilada Dip.
Baked BLT Dip
I’m excited to share this recipe for a yummy party dip – BLT Dip – inspired by a classic trio of ingredients.
Usually when people refer to a BLT, they’re talking about a sandwich that simply includes the following three ingredients:
- Bacon
- Lettuce
- Tomato
Hence, the acronym “BLT”. So simple, yet so delicious. I’m telling you, these three ingredients were destined to be combined. Which is why we decided to try out this BLT Dip Recipe!
It’s a cheesy, creamy dip that incorporates the ingredients of a BLT sandwich, like I just mentioned, and it turned out to be even tastier than we imagined.
How to make BLT Dip
This BLT Dip was crazy simple to throw together. Here are the steps to complete the recipe:
BACON. Cook the bacon in a large skillet and set on a paper towels to drain. Crumble bacon once it has cooled.
COMBINE. In a bowl, combine mayo, sour cream, cream cheese, shredded cheese, and bacon crumbles (if you want, you can reserve a portion of the bacon to add on the top after baking the dip).
BAKE. Bake for 20 minutes at 350ยฐ.
(Note: If you prefer not to bake your dip and just serve it cold, that’s totally fine. I would maybe omit the shredded cheese since it won’t combine with the other ingredients as well if it’s not melted. But if the texture won’t bother you, you can always leave it in.)
TOP. Top with tomatoes and lettuce (and remaining bacon crumbles if you saved some) just before serving.
What kind of dish do you use to serve the BLT dip? I think large shallow dishes, such as glass pie pans, work best for serving this dip. If you’re baking the dip, it obviously has to be something oven safe, preferably glass. If you’re serving it cold, it doesn’t matter as much. ๐
What to eat with BLT Dip
BLTs are typically a sandwich so one great thing to serve with this dip is buttered, toasted sandwich bread cut into triangles. Some other delicious foods to use include:
- Crackers like Ritz
- Tortilla chips
- Scoop Fritos
- Toasted crostini
- Veggies
- Pretzel Rolls

You’re welcome!!
Yum!
I baked the tomatoes with the dip and didn’t add the shredded lettuce which omits the “T” in BLT but the dip itself was creamy and delicious

Great idea for a dip! I’m loving it!
What are your thoughts about using miracle whip instead of mayo?
I haven’t tried, it might give it a different taste, but I am sure it would still be great!
