Have I mentioned how I’ve recently become obsessed with Sweet Potatoes? It wasn’t until last year at Thanksgiving when I tried a delicious Sweet Potato recipe that I realized just how much I loved them. Sad that it took 31 years of life to figure that out and have been missing out all this time! Bottom line, I REALLY like Sweet Potatoes and love that with fall here I’m excited to be cooking with them this year – for the first time!! YAY!!
One of the recipes we make on an almost weekly basis is our Brown Sugar Glazed Carrots. They are simple AND delicious. When I saw a recipe for Candied Sweet Potatoes on Martha Stewart that looked just like our carrots, I knew I had to try them as well. I’m so glad the dish was a hit!! The recipe was simple and was perfect!! I wanted to make sure I shared it with you before Thanksgiving time, because we’ll definitely be having this on Thanksgiving (and I’m sure a few more times before then).
I know sweet potatoes are a fall-favorite veggie and if you’ll be cooking with them, like us, then you’ll want to try this delicious recipe. It would be a great side dish with any meal!
