We Love a Tasty Twist!

Italian food is always a go-to in our house – especially pasta dishes! We eat pasta for dinner at least once a week.

It’s fun to change things up and try new twists. That’s how this spaghetti pie was created! The spaghetti crust is layered with a ricotta filling, meat sauce, and melty cheese for an easy pasta recipe my kids LOVE!

Why we love it:

  • Freeze for later. Pasta dishes are notorious for being a good freezer meal, this spaghetti pie is no different. Freeze a pie for a quick dinner idea on a busy day!
  • A hearty duo. This combines a tasty twist on a couple of our favorite classics: Spaghetti and Homemade Lasagna!
  • A simple favorite. It’s similar to our Skillet Lasagna, so it’s perfect for a quick, hearty dish with loads of great flavor.

    5 stars
The thing I love best about this recipe is that it’s very forgiving. It tasts amazing when you follow the recipe exactly, but it’s also very good if, say, you forgot to buy spaghetti and make it with another pasta; or you only have hamburger on hand. I’ve made this dish several times and everyone loves it!
