Who Doesn’t Love Pizza?!

We are pizza lovers – especially making or own with Homemade Pizza Dough!

Having said that, we don’t always have time for homemade Pepperoni Pizza and when that’s the case, our go-to is this pizza casserole.

It’s a great dinner idea for kids, but it’s so simple the kids can even make it themselves (our 3 oldest take turns making this one. It’s definitely a family fav!

Why we love it:

  • So easy the kids can do it. With simple steps, this recipe takes just 5 minutes of prep time, which makes it an AH-MAZING easy dinner idea.
  • Flavor variations. Casseroles are by nature versatile, and this pizza version is no different! Just top it with your favorites and make it your own.
  • Family-friendly. It’s easy, it’s cheesy – it’s delicious. The entire family loves it.

Ingredients

  • 1 (16.3-ounce) can refrigerator Grand Biscuits or use Homemade Pizza Dough. Pinch off 64 small pieces that are 7 grams each.

  3. BAKE. Top this with another 1½ cups of shredded cheese and pepperoni slices. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon pizza seasoning on top. Bake for 18-22 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown and cheese begins to brown.

Can I use pizza dough as no biscuits available and do I need to bake dough first or just combine everything?

Can I make this a day before and keep in fridge?

    1. Lil'Luna Team says:

Yes! Just store it covered in the fridge until you’re ready to bake. You may need to add a couple more minutes to the bake time to account for the chilled ingredients.

I was looking for a quick, easy Friday night recipe when I came across this. It is really good. We are not casserole people necessarily, but this made us one. The recipe was easy and fast. We enjoyed it a lot, and I will be making it again soon. The only changes I made were using the 5 count biscuits and an 8×8 pan since we only have 3 to feed. Thank you for sharing this recipe.

  7. Barbee says:

If you wanted to avoid all the carbs in the biscuits, could you use a can of refrigerated pizza dough? Has anyone tried something like that? Would you need to pre-bake the crust before adding all the ingredients? Thanks!

  8. Amanda says:

Should I use the Grands southern homestyle biscuits or the flaky layers? Does anyone know what biscuit was used in the pictures?

    1. Lil'Luna Team says:
