Knorr Spinach Dip Ingredients and Substitutions
- 2 cups sour cream – or plain Greek yogurt
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 (1.4-ounce) packet Knorr Vegetable mix – or Lipton vegetable mix
- 1 (10-ounce) box frozen chopped spinach – thaw frozen spinach, drain, and wring dry. To use fresh spinach, add a pound of spinach in a skillet with 3 tablespoons of water. Cover with a lid and cook until spinach has wilted. Wring dry.
- 1 cup sliced water chestnuts (optional) – adds a bit of a crunch to the dip.
- 3 scallions (optional) – or green onions. Adds flavor and color to the dip.

Dip Variations + Substitutions
- Create a thicker cold spinach dip by reducing the amount of sour cream.
- Sprinkle on crumbled bacon bits.
- Mix in some shredded cheese.


How to Make Knorr Spinach Dip
- COMBINE. In a medium bowl, mix 2 cups sour cream, 1 cup mayo, 1 (1.4-ounce) package Knorr vegetable recipe mix, and 1 (10-ounce) box chopped spinach.
- Fold in 1 cup water chestnuts and 3 sliced scallions. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
- SERVE. Serve the dip in a bowl, small Bread Bowl, hollowed-out bell peppers or even in a hollowed out round loaf of bread. Serve with vegetables, crackers, and more.

The measurements of the sour cream and may canโt be right. Thereโs too much of this and not enough spinach and you canโt taste the knorr seasoning. Iโll have to run to the store to get more seasoning and spinach.
Adding more spinach and seasoning is a easy adjustment for those who prefer those flavors to be more prominent. Iโm sorry you needed to make another trip to the store though. Thanks for giving the recipe a try!
