WEEKLY MEAL PLAN #37
Each week, I share with you a FREE meal plan that consists of 5 dinner ideas (Monday-Thursday plus one Weekend meal), 2 side dishes, and 1 dessert!
Included is a grocery list with EVERY ingredient you need for all the items on the meal plan.
This is meant to help simplify menu planning, shopping, and cooking so you can more easily enjoy meals with your family throughout the week!
TIP OF THE WEEK
Quiche is a very delicious and versatile dish. We love the Broccoli and Cheddar combo, but you can add other meats and veggies too. Leftovers work really well for this recipe!
Just make sure meats have been precooked and “wetter” veggies (like mushrooms or peas) have been sautรฉed before adding to the quiche. Check out our Bacon and Cheese Quiche for another yummy meal.
BENEFITS OF MEAL PLANNING
Thereโs nothing worse than the dread every time a family members asks, โWhatโs for dinner??โ And your answer is โI have no clue.โ Having a meal plan for the week eliminates that completely, which is the number one benefit in my book!
Besides having a game plan in place, there are several other benefits of meal planning, including:
- Cost: When you have a plan set in place, and a specific list of groceries, you eliminate cost wasted on impulse items or produce that never gets used.
- Decrease Waste: No wasted money, and no wasted food! Having a set grocery list will help to avoid both of those issues.
- Variety: Our meal plans specifically include a lot of variety, with Mexican, Italian, Breakfast for Dinner, and so much more! You can expose your familyโs palates to all kinds of meals.
- No Indecision: Did you know thereโs such thing as โindecision fatigueโ? The idea is that when you canโt make a decision on something (like what to make for dinner) it actually makes you mentally fatigued. When dinners are already planned out, though, you avoid indecision completely!
- Health: When you plan for/anticipate making well-rounded meals, youโre much more likely to actually make them rather than defaulting to convenient boxed meals, or unhealthy fast food!
As you can see, there are so many benefits to meal planning!

Monday
Red Cheese Enchiladas
Restaurant-Style Red Cheese Enchiladas are an old family favorite recipe that is simply the best!! They are cheesy, saucy, and so yummy.
The Crock Pot Pinto Beans on the plan this week are meant to be paired with these enchiladas. But if pinto beans aren’t your style, try our Easy Refried Beans. And don’t forget the Mexican Rice!
Tuesday
Chicken Florentine Soup
With a combination of chicken, potato, white beans, carrots, spinach and more, this chicken florentine soup is hearty and absolutely delicious. It tastes similar to Olive Garden’s recipe, but it’s made in the slow cooker!
We have to make copycat Olive Garden Breadsticks when we serve this soup. You can’t have one without the other!
wednesday
Broccoli Quiche
Broccoli quiche is one of my favorite hot breakfast recipes! Healthy, filling, and flavorful. It has everything you want and more!
Make sure to check out the tip of the week for some tips on quiche! You can swap out add-ins with the same base to make Ham and Cheese Quiche, Asparagus Quiche, and Spinach Quiche.
Thursday

Lean & juicy turkey burgers are packed with flavor but light on calories. They are a perfectly delicious addition to your next BBQ!
My favorite sides to eat with this burger are Baked French Fries and Fruit Salad. You could also serve Zucchini Fries (the other side of the week on the meal plan) today!
