- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

How to Make Waffle Mix
- PREP. Preheat the waffle iron to the desired setting. Most waffle irons work best at medium-high heat.
- BATTER. In a medium bowl, mix flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar until combined.
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs. Add the milk, butter, and vanilla and stir to combine.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
- COOK. Pour ¾ cup waffle batter into the preheated waffle iron and cook until golden brown.
Kristyn’s Recipe Tips
- Triple the dry ingredients and store them in an airtight container in the pantry. When making waffles use 2⅛ cups of the mix and combine it with the wet ingredient listed on the recipe card.
- We love classic melted butter and syrup but also enjoy fresh berries and Cool Whip as waffle toppings.
- For fluffy waffles don’t overmix the batter. Mix the wet and dry ingredients just until they are combined; a few lumps are perfectly fine.
