Hi. It’s me, Lily again!
Tomorrow my parents are telling us a surprise. We are going somewhere because I saw my mom packing. I wish the surprise would be going back to Arizona because I miss my family! Or I wish I was going to Disneyland because I love every single ride. I want to go on Tower of Terror 10 times. I guess we will find out tomorrow.
Today’s recipe is one that I gave my mom 14 thumbs up! It was really yummy. We put Thin Mint cookies inside Gooey Butter Chocolate Cookies and even put Mint M&Ms on top. My favorite part of the dessert was the M&Ms. When I tried it I was freaking out because it tasted so good. I was running away from my brother so he wouldn’t try to steal it from me.
Here are the Thin Mint Stuffed Gooey Chocolate Cookies:
Chocolate and mint is really good. You can make this for St. Patrick’s Day for a treat.
It has green!
- Devil's Food Cake Box Mix
- ½ cup butter
- ½ tsp. vanilla
- 1 8 oz. Cream Cheese bar
- 1 egg
- powdered sugar
- Thin Mints
- Mint M&Ms
- Beat butter, vanilla, egg and cream cheese until fluffy.
- Mix in cake mix.
- Chill for 30 minutes.
- Grab 1 TB dough and flatten out. Add a thin mint on top. Add more dough to cover up the top of the Thin Mint. Work dough around until it's all covered. Roll in a bowl of powdered sugar. Add Mint M&Ms (I used 4 for each cookie) to the tops and press in slightly.
- Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes, and sift powdered sugar on top if desired.
